My car was towed to theier establishment without my knowledge in which I had it towed back to sears. I than personally went to the establishment and spoke with 2 workers one who showed me several engines online and one that made the agreement to charge 1200 for the engine and 700 labor. It was at this time that I explained that the car was having dificulty accelarating and was backfiring before the engine shut down. It was at this time I was told that I needed a new engine and parts to fix the problem. When I first notice the same problem I returned the vechile as was told it was the OD button. The next time I was told that there was no problem. Once the check engone light came on he stated that I needed to pay additional moneyin which I told him this problem was explained when I first brought the vehicle in and it was understood that this was to be fixed. He was not present during this conversation. After several complaints he asked me to leave the vehicle and when I picked it up the check engine light was no longer on and he said there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. As soon as I turned it on I asked what is that noise and he said maybe you have no gas.
I have been extremely patient with this situation and yet no resolution. [redacted] needs to honor the agreement made by the workers at his establishment. I paid for my vehcile to be fixed and it has not been fixed properly. He can take back his engine and return my money if he does not want to complete the job.

Review: Vehicle was towed to PJS Auto Solutions and I informed them the the vehicle was backfiring and had problems accerlerating and then the engine seized. The stated to fix the problem the needed to replace the engine for a cost of $1200 for engine and parts and $700 labor. After checking other facilites I agreed to this price. I sent my son to complete the transaction. Unknown to me the charged my son an additional $300 plus $388tax. A week and half after picking up the vehicle I notice the same problem with the acceleration. They stated it was having the Over drive on. A week later the vehicle backfired and the the check engine light came on. I took it back to them and the stated this was not a problem with what they fixed but I informed them that I explained that this was the orignal problem when I brought the vehicle to them. The [redacted] stated that this was a separate issue and he refuse to fix it. After much complaining to him and informing him that they charged a higher rate and the car is still not working properly he asked me to leave the vehicle. I had another mechanic look the vehicle over before I took it in. When I picked up the vehicle the check engine light was off but the car wa making sounds he stated that was due to no gas. I filled up with gas and the sound remained in addition the air condintioner no longer worked and something was clinking under the bottom of the vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would like my vehicle fixed properly or a refund.

The vehicle was towed by us from Sears Auto located at([redacted]) to our establishment, free of charge. After diagnosing the car we found that the engine was seized. The customer did not inform us what the problem was because she did not know what really was the cause of her engine to seize. We then searched for an engine and found one for $1200.00 and informed them that the job total would be $1900.00 ($1200 for the engine ,$700 for the labor)so they agreed to leave a deposit of $1000.00, paid by credit card which we also informed them that there is a tax charge on credit card swipes,(total of $1088.75)for which [redacted] agreed to and swiped. After receiving the transaction we then went forward to purchase the engine , but it was already sold. So we searched for another engine and came across one but this one was $300.00 more but before purchasing the engine we called [redacted] (who is the person we made the transaction with) and inform ed him that this engine we found cost $300 more than what we agreed on and he gave the ok and agreed to pay the extra $300.the remaining balnce for the job was $1200.00 and again he used a credit card so the final payment that was received was $1306.50 which he agreed and when ahead and paid making the job a grand total of $2395.25 ($2200.00 + Tax of $195.25). After a month and a half [redacted] came back and said that the check engine light was on and we said ok we will take a look at it. we came to a conclusion that the check engine light was an O2 Sensor that was bad(which is located underneath the car) and needed to be changed. we notified them that was the cause of the check engine light. After numerous complaints about hearing clinking noise on the car , we took the car for several test drives and we did not hear the clink noise, we even drove the car with [redacted] twice and still no noise was heard. Still she kept coming back and finally decided to take the car for a full day to drive all day and still did not find the noise she states that she hears. In conclusion we do not know what she wants us to fix, the check engine light will be fixed if she buys the O2 Sensor and pays the labor.
