have an $service charge for replacing a sashI agreed at the time to only charge them $only because of the confusion and hassleI also explained that during the holiday season it takes an unusually long time to receive parts from the manufacturer and that it would be at least a month before the sash came inThe manufacturer let me know that the sash would be here on Dec 16thHowever due to a shipping error I did not receive itI have spoken with the manufacturer and I should be receiving the sash on Jan I spoke with Ms *** today and let her know all of thisAs soon as I have the sash in my possession I will call her again to set up an appointment to replace it

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/11/23) */
I recently went to Ms*** homeShe walked around the house with me to show me all of the issues she is having and what she would like fixedThe issue of the top row of siding falling off is due to wind damageWind damage is not
covered under the manufacturers warrantyHowever, since all of the siding is still there (and re attached by a family member) we will correct that issue for no charge
She also complained about some metal capping that was not completed on the back of her homeAccording to the contract Ms*** was to provide the metal used to make the capping on the homeShe didn't have enough to complete the whole jobWhen she was told that additional metal would be needed she refused to pay for itTherefore the capping was not finishedI do have extra capping material so as a gesture of good faith will be having a member of the service team finish it
For the water pooling at her door it appears that the design of the home is actually at faultWe had to put J channel on top of a break in the sidingThe J channel we had to use is now channeling the water to her doorI will be speaking with the member of the service team to find a solution
Thank you,

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2015/11/23) */
I am making an official reply to the complaint made by Ms. [redacted]. I have tried to contact Ms. [redacted] on multiple occasions. I have left messages explaining that I was the new Service Manager for Pitcher Perfect and would like to resolve the...
issues that she has. She has called back 1 time over the weekend when I do not have the work phone with me. I again called her back several times and left messages. No answer and no reply.
In response to her first complaint that after she signed she was told that she couldn't get the windows she wanted in gold: The owner has assured me that he explained to her that she was told about having to use casement windows. She also had the opportunity to cancel the contract and didn't.
second complaint: Installers are exactly that installers, not salesmen. They are highly skilled in their own field but don't know the finer details about what can and can't be ordered. If the installer did in fact tell her that she could have gotten double hung windows then that was a mistake on his part. At this time they do not offer double hung windows with that type of window.
Third complaint: She changed her mind as to the location of her windows and decided to put them in a location where they would have to cut new holes in the wall(s). Of course when you do that there will be drywall work that needs to be done. Aside from that the additional work of cutting them in was done for free. She was told she would have to hire someone else to finish her drywall. In her desired settlement she is asking for restitution to pay her back for having had to hire another company. In the message she left me she told me that the work still had not been finished.
Fourth complaint: The $100 referral incentive is in fact a policy of ours. Unfortunately, our policy states that the referrer can not live at the same address as the person that was referred.
Desired settlement: Since Ms [redacted] will not return my calls I don't know if the screens are the wrong size or not. But, in casement windows it is standard that they actually fit loose so you are able to remove them for easier access to clean etc. I feel that Ms. [redacted] may not know this and is probably complaining about a product that is perfectly fine. Until she calls me back I will never know.
We should not be held liable when we have made multiple attempts to make her happy and she doesn't return calls for us to do so.
Thank you,
[redacted]

Case # 19041591Pitcher Perfect Siding & Window
This letter is in response to the letter I received from the Revdex.com dated November 24, 2015.
I have to admit I have dreaded writing this letter because I find Pitcher Perfect Windows & Siding to be totally disreputable. I've taken my case to Lisa Madigans office - I've taken it to your office and it continues to be nothing more than writing letters to no avail.
I received from the Revdex.com - that [redacted] the new service manager from PPW & Siding wrote them.
First complaint - says he has tried to call me on multiple occasions - he called one time left a message wanting to know that he was the new manager (leaving me hopeful at last someone would address the problems with my windows - I saved the message) He has the same number that Scott had given me the original person I worked with - I made 4 return calls leaving messages on three of them. I return all phone calls believe me I would have answered the call for the windows if I had received them. Lies. I have caller ID and have notified the phone company to send me every call I've received. Oh and calling and hanging up doesn't count as a phone call.
Next he claims the owner said he told me I wouldn't get gold windows - wrong he never said a word until I brought it up after the windows were installed. Lies again. Believing them to be honorable - I didn't read the contract - signed and paid. Yes that is my fault for not checking it out and reading it thoroughly. I'm not use to hiring dishonorable people.
Second complaint - As far as getting the double hung windows I can only go by what the window sellers and installers tell me. Which one is the liar? Either way one of them lied. (See the pattern)
Third complaint - Now did you read Ryans letter he said - in the message he got from me on the phone (I thought I didn't answer any of the phone calls again a lie.) All of the drywalling work I was asked to do I did promptly within days to a week's time. Check with [redacted] St, [redacted] IA XXXXX. (XXX) XXX-XXXX they can give you the dates I had it done. I was told I would need to get dry wall done for the front windows where I had the 2 windows added and it was done within a week. I want restitution for the dining room windows - no one said anything about dry walling there - I was told once the windows were in all I'd have to do is paint. I shouldn't have had to pay for the dining room dry walling. More lies.
Fourth complaint - the $100 for referral is in fact a policy of theres - liar. My brother [redacted] and his wife [redacted] encouraged me to get the Windows from Pitcher Perfect Windows - they live at XXXX XXth Ave [redacted] IL. XXXXX. This is the same house Pitcher Perfect installed windows for them. Check the records. They still live there.
[redacted] who checked the front window screens a year ago August saw that they didn't fit and assured me they would be ordered. You know when you lie you need to get the story straight. Since they are all lying they're not sure what all they said. Fortunately - I saved every phone message.
I had to pay a contractor $200 to complete the outside of the bedroom window because they weren't finished. It was freezing last winter - I didn't want to deal with it again this winter. (I had pitchers taken). I asked him to looked at the inside and he said oh my this is awful it's all hodgepodge it would take all afternoon to get this done. I also had a city inspector take a look at it and he said - it's too bad they didn't get a permit - I hope you didn't pay them this is not good at all and would never have passed an inspection.
As you can see I am frustrated - I've always tried to be honorable and forthright. I want to thank you for all you have done or tried to do - please help others from being taken advantage of.
Thank you, my next step is to go to court. I have checked with a lawyer. [redacted] Marie [redacted]

After writing my response to the the Revdex.com Ms. [redacted] contacted me over the phone. There are number of discrepancies between what she told me, what she has complained about to the Revdex.com and what she has told the Attorney General. I am currently freeing up time in my schedule to visit with Ms. [redacted] and find out what work needs to be done to make her satisfied. After I see for myself what all is going on I will write another response.

Our service manager went to Mr. [redacted]'s today, September 16th, and spoke with Mr. [redacted]. He informed our service manager that he would be happy once we put on the 3x4 downspouts. Our service manager is scheduled to go to Mr. [redacted]'s on Monday,...
September 21st. Mr. [redacted] had originally agreed to keep the downspouts we put on for the $300 discount.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
the company called after repairs and demanded the 300 dollars which I refuse to pay because of their poor customer service on doing repairs before I contacted the Revdex.com. [redacted] called threating to come out and remove the new downspouts, put a lean on my house ,and take me to small claims court. the 300 dollar discount was to be discussed when he came out as to wether I would keep the ones installed or they would replace them with correct parts and fix the poor fitted corner on the gutter .
Final Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2015/11/23) */
In our business's initial response it should have been mentioned that when I (the service manager) went to Mr. Crafts home on Sept 16 he did agree to pay the $300 once the correct downspouts were put on. I even told him that I would also buy and install an upgraded elbow to allow him to tip the kickouts up and use his sidewalk more easily. The purchase price did not include these elbows. I returned on Sept 21 and installed all of the downspouts and all but 1 of the tip up elbows. I explained to Mr [redacted] that the had run out I would return as soon as they provided me with another. At that time I also told him that I would not be collecting the $300 until the last one was installed because the job was not complete. He agreed. On Sep 24, I returned with the elbow and installed it. Ms. [redacted] answered the door and said that Mr. [redacted] was not home at the time. I told Ms. [redacted] that the job was now complete and that I needed to collect the $300 difference. She immediately became irate. Screaming, cursing and threatening to have me arrested if I didn't leave her property. At that point I kindly left and returned to the office to tell the owner of the company what had happened. Given the circumstances the owner had every right to be upset. Not only did he lose the $300 but he also lost all of the wages, gas etc that were spent to rectify the problem.
Thank you::
