This website sells shipping and postage for ***. It has a function where you can paste in the address where the package is going. I ship many packages and the paste function saves time and also eliminates typo errors. Recently I shipped two packages. The tracking numbers end in *** and ***. I paid $22.72 to Pirate Ship for the shipping fees.
Today I learned from the recipient of the packages that they never arrived and are being to returned to me. Upon investigation it was realized that the Pirate Ship software did not transfer the apartment number to the labels, even though the apartment number was in fact pasted into the software.
Upon contacting Pirate Ship today, they refuse to take any responsibility for their erroneous software programming problem

I'm so sorry that this problem with our software happened, and take full responsibility for the consequences. As address formats can be very complicated, we rely on an external address parsing AI service for our "Paste Address" feature, which usually does a great job... but in this case it definitely failed by not including the Apartment Numbers you'd pasted in. While our interface does display the results for confirmation, it's very easy to miss any mistakes, and it's undoubtedly our fault that this happened at all.
I've reviewed the chat you had with our customer support, and recognize that they took far too strict of a stance with you, when they should have immediately credited you for this mistake. This was outside of our normal policy for this sort of situation, and I have initiated re-training for the reps who were involved in this. I deeply apologize for them not acting as they should have here, it certainly was no help and I completely understand why this would leave you feeling uncared for. We strive to offer world-class customer support, and in 6 years have never had a Revdex.com complaint... so we definitely messed up big time here!
I do want to point out that a senior member of our team did review this case the day after, and reached out to you with an email (on March 9th), where she credited your account for the $22.72. It appears you may not have seen that email, which is why you've filed this complaint.
