As noted in my previous response, we encouraged Mr. [redacted] to replace the entire roof when we initially looked at it.  He refused our recommendation and wanted repairs done instead.  Again, as noted previously, we not only completed all the work that was contracted for, but went far beyond what any roofing contractor would.Pinnacle Roofing has maintained the highest ratings possible, on both [redacted] and the Revdex.com, since we incorporated over 10 years ago.  This has been accomplished by performing exemplary work to our customers complete satisfaction.  We have attempted to do so with Mr. [redacted] as well. That being said, we have reached the point where we will no longer perform any work for Mr. [redacted] and consider this job complete as per the contract.Kevin P. All the work contracted for has been completed.  The balances for each invoice has been paid in full. (Who would pay in full unless the work was completed to their satisfaction?) The only outstanding balance that is due Pinnacle Roofing is the $500.00 as noted by Mr....

[redacted]. This is for follow–up T/M work.  All associated contracts, invoices and proof of payment can be forwarded to you upon request. The building in question is part of an old Navy storage area.  This building has been un-occupied for many years.  Mr. [redacted] asked for our opinion on the roof and we told him that the only way to guarantee it would not leak would be a full replacement.  Mr. [redacted] did not want to spend that much money on a new roof. To specifically answer Mt. [redacted] review: 1). The roof debris created by us has long since been removed.  We even cleaned the area of debris caused by other contractors. 2). All remaining leaks have been repaired.  The problem is the roof will continue to leak in other areas until Mr. [redacted] replaces the entire roof.  We were honest and told him that in our first meeting. 3). The chimney is falling apart and hasn’t been used in decades. It is the same chimney that was original to the building when it was first constructed (reference “…..coal bin”).  We did not throw bricks down the chimney, damaging the plywood inside.  The plywood Mr. [redacted] referenced is used to seal off the bin since it is not being used. 4) We are waiting for the manufactures rep. to conduct an inspection.  Once completed he will get his warranty. 5). The overhead door was broken and took us a full day to get it open.  The support rafter above the door was collapsed, prior to Pinnacle commencing work, causing the door to be miss-aligned.  We propped it open so that we could get inside during construction. Pinnacle roofing went “above and beyond” what is typically expected form a roofing contractor; 1). Pinnacle was given “Power of Attorney” and attended numerous meetings in Mr. [redacted]’s absence.  None of this time was “billed”. 2). We were asked to act as the general contractor on this project, coordinating the efforts of other contractors.  We did not bill for this added responsibility. 3). We performed duties best described as a “real estate agent”, meeting potential lessees to show them the property.  We did not bill for this time. 4). Our foreman on the project even brought him over to his house, allowing Mr. [redacted] to shower, have a home cooked meal, and spend the night. (Mr. [redacted] was sleeping at the building in question until that time.
Mr. [redacted]'s story continues to evolve.  This is the first reference to stolen fire extinguishers we had received.  I can assure you we did not steal these, or anything else, from his property.  Pinnacle ALWAYS brings our own extinguisher to all job sites to ensure OSHA compliance.
When considering the outcome of this complaint, I would encourage you to look at our history with the Revdex.com and also consider the fact we have received the "Super Service Award" from [redacted] for 3 straight years.
It is Pinnacles position that we not only satisfied the contracts signed, but went above and beyond said contracts in our continual effort to maintain our outstanding  customer service ratings.
