Purchased a [redacted] on June 24th 2014. A verbal and written agreement was made for services that were not completedPurchased a [redacted] on June 24th 2014. A verbal and written agreement was made for services that were not completed. A complete trailer hitch package which included the harness was to be provided by the dealer since the car I traded in had this package. It took almost 6 weeks to get the car in to hace this completed. Along with this job a completed detail of the car was to be performed. Upon receiving the car back, the trailer hitch was installed with no harness that can see and there were coffee stains in the cup holder of the car along with dirt on all of the mats. I contacted business owner [redacted] about this situation.[redacted] had not reutrned any of my phones calls to address this issue. It's been a week and I have heard nothing. To top things off I was pressured to fill out a customer satisfaction survey by one of the sales clerks who no longer works there, and if I rated the high marks I would get 2 free gas refills and 2 free oil changes. This whold experience is disrespectful and unprofessional to me as a customerDesired SettlementI want the complete trailer hitch and harness package that we agreed on verbally and in writting. I want the complete detail of my car completed inside and out. I also want copies of the paperwork of what company they went with to install the hitch and harness along with the lifetime warranty of the product. This was all agreed upon before I even traded my car in which had the package

We were told that we had a $1500 rebate and we only received a check for $1000. Then we were told to put the check in the bank and take $200 a month toward the $377 payment and after 6 months we could refinance the car for a payment of $250. When we went back at the end of August, they tried to put us in a 2015 [redacted] and it was take it or leave it, they could not refinance the 2015 [redacted] we purchased. They also charged us $3200.00 in maintenance contracts and we were told it came with the car. They were extremely rude and threatened to kick us off the property. All I want is a negative statement, so that when other consumers go looking for a car, they will think twice about purchasing from Pinehurst [redacted]/////Desired SettlementI would like another explanation as to why a brand new vehicle would not come with sometime of maintenance coverage. Also they had us believing we could refinance the [redacted], but were told we could only upgrade for a higher payment overall./////Business Response Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] did receive a manufacturer rebate in the amount of $1,500, reflected as a credit on the Retail Purchase Order. In addition to the rebate, they received a check from the Dealership in the amount of $1,200 which was a separate Dealer-funded credit, unrelated to the rebate. Their lender, [redacted] Motors Finance does have a program whereby borrowers who maintain a good payment record can either refinance the loan to a lower interest rate, or upgrade to another vehicle at a lower interest rate. Due to the lender's programs at the time Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] returned to the Dealership, the Versa didn't qualify for a refinance to the lower rate (from 4.56) however there was an option for them to upgrade to an Altima at 0% financing with no payments for 90 days. It is the lender's decision as to the refinance, and not the Dealership's.Initially Ms. [redacted] seemed in favor of the arrangement, but after they went to lunch and discussed it appeared that they changed their minds. However, the Dealership personnel who worked with Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] were emphatic that at no time was this presented as a "take it or leave it" situation; there was no rude behavior on the part of the dealership personnel and no one asked Mr. [redacted] or Ms. [redacted] to leave the premises. With respect to the "maintenance" contract, Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] elected to purchase a Mechanical Failure Service Contract and a Car Care Service Contract (a prepaid maintenance contract including service every 5,000 miles). These are separate from and supplemental to the manufacturer's warranty on the vehicle. The coverage is explained on the Menu signed at the time of purchase; however if they still have questions about the coverage, they can contact the dealership.I trust this will resolve any remaining concerns of Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] Corporate Counsel
