Heart of Illinois Revdex.com 8100 N UNIVERSITY PEORIA IL 61615 RE: ID [redacted] Recap of transactions and purchase agreements [redacted] [redacted] Spring Bay, IL 61611 On 11/14/14, 3 years ago [redacted] visited our Peoria showroom and purchased a New Yamaha P22 DO dark oak, upright, professional piano w/bench #J30268124. The agreement included delivery to her home address and moving her existing piano to 81 N Riverside Drive. Also included was a free tuning in her home after delivery by our technician. After the initial free in home tuning, [redacted] had her local piano tuners, tune and maintain the piano. During one of their visits she had the Center Pedal Soft tone changer/Practice assembly removed from the piano. Approximate 2 ½ years later, mid/summer of 2017 [redacted] contacted our Peoria showroom stating she was hearing vibrations or overtones in certain Octaves of the piano. Our certified Yamaha tech went to [redacted]s’s home to inspect the piano and could find nothing wrong. [redacted] stayed in contact with us stating she continued to hear the overtones. One of our owners also scheduled a visit, inspected, and could hear nothing wrong. Our company strives for satisfied customers! Even after 2 ½ years we/Piano Network arranged to have Two New Yamaha 22 DO pianos in our Peoria showroom for [redacted] to come, inspect, play, hear and choose from. She selected P22 DO #J33335459. We made an even trade for the Yamaha P22 DO originally delivered on11/14/14. The second piano was delivered on 8/4/17. A free in home tuning was given with the second piano. The original P22 DO was taken to our Effingham shop and showroom for further inspection. Nothing was found wrong. We’ve now put this piano In a Music loan program with a Montessori School Music Program with very talented Piano Teachers. They love the sound and performance of this piano. We are still missing and waiting for [redacted] to provide us with the Center Pedal Soft/Tone Changer/Practice assembly she had her technicians remove from the original P22 DO #J30268124 piano. She was unable to find this assembly when our Delivery team exchanged pianos. After receiving more overtone/vibration complaints from [redacted] on the second piano, we scheduled a tuning and voicing with a local professional piano tech from the Peoria area. We understand all was great for a few days, but again [redacted] started hearing the overtones. [redacted] then met with our associate in Peoria showroom discussing the merits of Yamaha’s AVANT hybrid NU1PE Console Piano. She selected and agreed to trading the second P22 DO even exchange including delivery for the Yamaha NU1PE. The Yamaha NU1PE was delivered and exchange made. When our delivery men returned delivering, they commented how well [redacted] liked. Exact words were… [redacted] expressed she loved it. We wouldn’t see her back in our showroom complaining anymore. After several weeks she contacted us stating she had found a Roland LX7 Digital Piano she likes better. Asked if we would refund her money to allow her to purchase this piano. After almost 3 years, we recommended if the Roland LX7 is now her choice to work out a trade with the Roland dealer trading in her Yamaha NU1PE for the Roland LX7. Please let us know if you have further thoughts or questions. Thanks! Larry A Waldhoff 217 343 1796 Piano Network of Illinois 4640 N Brandywine Drive Peoria, IL 61614
