Thank you for allowing the opportunity to respond to this complaintWe regret the situation this person has detailed, as we strive very hard to ensure a pleasant, caring environment for any patient or consumer of our servicesEach patient experience may be unique, but is handled with the highest of standards as to ethics, professionalism, and patient careDue to patient privacy, I am unable to confirm or deny any of the allegations of this complaint.As part of any procedure provided by Physicians Skin & Weight Centers, ALL costs are provided in writing prior to anything being doneFurthermore, everything is documented, and signed by the patient who is agreeing to services/proceduresNothing is done, and no transactions are made until the patient understands, then signs all appropriate documentationThat in mind, there simply is no way to falsify pricingThe current promotional cost of our SmartLipo procedure is, in fact, $1,- per areaThis is indicated on ALL marketing methodsAdditionally, there is a statement on ALL marketing methods regarding additional fees for a SmartLipo procedureThese fees include the following: a Pre-Procedure fee, commonly referred to as the 'Pre-Op' fee, and the Surgical Room, or OR (Operating Room) feeThe fees can vary between patients, therefore it is not possible to disclose exact amounts for the general publicFor this reason, we offer a free, no-obligation consultation and evaluation to prospective patientsOnce the consultation is complete, a written quote is provided, detailing all costs associated with the procedureAt that time, the patient can easily walk away or move forward with purchasing services.As indicated before, all prospective patients are given a thorough understanding of the process prior to obtaining services or a procedureIf a patient is unable provide payment-in-full on their own, we provide several methods of financing, using reputable financing partnersThese options are based upon approval - from the patient - through obtaining additional personal information to verify identity and fiscal viability of the patient by our financing partnersPhysicians Skin & Weight Centers cannot create, open, or charge ANY account without explicit approval - in writing - by the patient and/or finance companyAgain, everything is documented with patient approval and signatures.Should a patient decide to cancel a procedure for any reason, we are happy to review the situation, then move forward with the patients' wishes in an appropriate and timely manner

We apologize the delay in response to our patient's complaint. An account review was necessary in order to determine the corrective action. After researching, the following has been determined:The patient was invoiced for $750.00. This amount reflects a 50% discount 2 treatments (tx) of... Microderm Abrasion = $150.00 ($75.00 per tx)2 treatments (tx) of IPL (laser pigment facial procedure) = $600.00 ($300.00 per tx).She paid half the invoice amount: $375.00. She was entitled to 1 tx of Micro ($75.00) and 1 tx of IPL ($300.00).Because she received one tx of Micro (value of $75.00) = her total refund amount is $300.00. However, we have issued a previous refund check in the amount of $75.00. The remaining $225.00 will be processed immediately and sent by check to our patient.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and frustration experienced by this patient. A refund, in the amount of $1,195.00 is being processed today and will be mailed to the patient. The check should be received by Friday, 1/9, hopefully no later than Monday, 1/12/15. The check will be mailed to the... address our patient provided on this complaint.Please notify me immediately if there are additional concerns.Thank you.

In the last email you sent me physicians skin &weight stated they were processing my refund and I would have it by 5/That never happened.Ive called *** in business office but fails to return my phone callsCan you see what you can do ?Thanks for your assistance***

rejecting this response because: The response from Physicians Skin and Weight is FalseThey did not complete the work that was paid for. I purchased areas of smart lipo: inner thigh, outer thigh, knees and banana rollThe banana roll was never done in the procedure and the outer thigh was not completed and the back of my knees were not done (I was told during surgery that it was an unsafe part of the body due to veins, however when I bought that section the sales rep assured me the back would be included and showed me by drawing the section on meThe doctor only went up a portion of the way, half of the area of my upper, outer thigh was not touchedI expressed my concerns during surgery when the areas were not touch and during my follow up appointmentsThe follow up appointment were with the nurses and when I asked to speak with the Doctor then said she was not thereThe response from the nurse was that the areas had to heal and that if the sections were not done or not done to my satisfaction that the sections would be re-done but for me not to worry about it that I would be taken care of and that I would have to wait months when I was completely healed for the doctor to examine and I could address my concerns with her thenI waiting until my month follow up appointment and Dr *** agreed that the banana roll was not done and that the outer thigh was not done high enough and said she completely understood why I was upset but said that she would not the surgerySince the surgery would not be redone I requested a refundThe doctor agreed that a refund was in order but said I would have to go through the Clinical DirectorI sent several requests to *** *** addressing my concerns and request for a refund*** called me on 2/5/and promised a refund based on the refund request I had sent in for $She said her Accounting Department would mail it out by 2/13/I received nothing from them, sent more emails and phone calls and now their response to my Revdex.com complaint is that no refund is dueA refund was promised and since the requested work was not done, or not completed based on the areas that were sold to me, a refund is clearly due to me

I purchase smart Lipo on July 25th from physicians skin and weight centersI paid I was told I had to purchase it in July for a promo even though I wasn't scheduled for surgery till later in AugustI went in for surgery in August and they weren't able to complete my surgery due to lack of timeSo I only had area out of the areas I paid for semi completeThe lipo suction DrTold me that he would re do the section I had done that day because it looked like it was going to be uneven I tried to schedule another appointment a few months later but they never would return my callsI also was never seen for a post op appointment or to see how I was healingNot only is the area I got lipo suction lop sided but it has so many hard lumps and pain when touchingAnyway in March of I decided I was going to make an effort to get my procedures done and the area fixedI called and left over voice mails and never a single call backI then received a letter in June

I went into Physicians Skin & Weight on December 16, 2016, I received a quote for SMARTLIPOI agreed and they asked for a $deposit and said that it was good for a year (I had until 12/16/to have the procedure)This is also noted #on the quote I signedOn September 11, I called to make an appointmentI got a recording that the company decided to close their doors and to leave a message (the had instructions as to what they wanted me to leave on the VM) and they will get back meI have not heard any response

After several thorough reviews, it has been found that our patient completed all purchased services and follow up appointments as of November Physicians Skin and Weight Centers has gone above and beyond to ensure patient results, care, and safetyThere is no refund due in this matter

They convinced me to do procedures that did not turn out as they promised I had a COlaser treatment that was done on my face that did absolutely nothing to repair/remove anything I looked exactly the same as I did prior to the procedureThe only thing I was concerned about was the broken capillaries on my chin and nose and a patch of brown spots on my forehead I was promised that these, along with other things (wrinkles, large pores) would be gone once I healed And my face looks exactly the same way it did prior to the procedure I also had laser lipo done on my upper and lower abdomen, and flanks on my back They described the procedure as gentle but it was anything but gentle The physician shoved the speculum into to me for what seemed to be hours And once I healed I was left with a deformed belly button and uneven back and stomach I had these procedures done in July of I filed a complaint and request for my money to be refunded with them in January And

I disagree with the statements being made by the representative of the Physicians Skin and Weight Centers  because they are not true and I'll explain why:1. First able   Physicians  Skin  and Weight Centers lied when posted an ad in my face book  wall advertising a promotion of Smart Lipo  for the only cost of $1275.00. 2. They took advantage  when I was  coming to the office and  change the cost up  to $3,075.00Big Lie.   I complained   to Mrs. [redacted] that I cannot paid that amount ( $3,075.00) and I said that if I was  going to the appointment  was because they offered  the Lipo for only $1275.00 . I told Mrs. [redacted] that if was at that price  I was not interesting to do any Lipo.Then she persuaded telling me another lie that was that they could financing  the remain cost and that I only have to paid half of the surgery in advance. I was  very disappointed with the price but I change my mind because  she offered to finance the remain balance. 3. I agree base in the promised  they offer to me to do a finance for the remain balance of the total cost of surgery    4. But they broke  the  terms of this agreement which was to  do a finance because and I receive a letters from the two loan companies  that  told me that credit line was declined. They lied again.Please see attached letters from  - HC PROCESSING CENTER  &  FORTIVA RETAIL CREDIT.( See Attachments # 7 & # 7A) 5.. Physicians  Skin  and Weight Centers lying to me about to do the  finance, they did not meet the terms when they promised that they would finance half of the cost of Lipo and thus failed with terms of the contract. Just  only for this reason they should reimbursing me all the prepaid money fully which is $2,275.00. 6. They rushed me to signed the invoice date on 9/2/2016  and she did not explain  and give me the time  to read the terms in that invoice . ( see attachment  # 2 ) 7. I supposed to do a surgery  on  the bottom area of my stomach  but they  adding  to do an surgery in an area didn't asked  to do. This way they forced me to added a second area to forced me to pay more money to them. Furthermore  I am notice that in the second invoice date on September 7/2016 they added two more areas  make a total of  3 areas to remove fat.But  This invoice   date on September 7,2016 wasn't signed  by me. Mrs. [redacted]  FALSIFIED MY SIGNATURE.  THIS IS A CRIME AND SHE SHOULD BE CHARGE FOR FRAUD ( See attachment  # 4) 8.  Finally a Certified letter #7016 1370 0001 9101 7040 was sent to the  Physician &  Skin  and weight Center  I revoke   and Article  5  of The Physician Patient Arbitration Agreement   in which it say:" This agreement may be revoke by written notice delivered  to the physician within  30 days of signature. It is the intend of this agreement  to apply to all medical services  rendered any time for any condition "    The arbitration agreement was dated  on September 7,2016 and Certified letter was sent on September 23, 2016  ( See attachment #10  # 16  #17 )  9. furthermore I cancelled the Lipo recommended by my doctor ( See attachment  # 11) CONCLUSION: For all these reasons I request that  physician  Skin and Weight Center respond to my refund request that I submitted  in person on 9/14/2016  and reimbursement   for the full amount of $2,275.00 . ( See  attachment # 13 )   Sincerely
