[redacted] was my anesthesiologist during my laminectomy (lumbar spine surgery) in He was a JERKHe was rude to me the whole time and completely not comforting, which, to me, is your primary job as someone who is sedating/prepping you for surgeryBecause I had prior surgeries for the same issue, he expected me to not be anxious and basically insulted me for being nervous when he and the nurses tried and failed times to find a good veinNot only was I full of holes, but I was made to feel like it was MY faultHe also didn't help matters by telling me it's a common experience to wake up too soon which was a source of anxiety for me in the first placeI ended up going into the OR crying because he made me more nervous with his crappy attitudeNOT okayHe had to gas me and then try to find a vein after I was outHorrible experience Also, the billing office at ANEX has some terrible policiesI didn't have insurance at the time of my surgery because no insurance would take me due to pre-existing conditions (before obamacare went into effect)I explained my situation and was making monthly payments towards my balance, as much as I could affordMost offices won't send you to collections if you are making payments, periodBut this one requires you to pay off the entire balance within one yearno matter how insanely high the bill isI got a nasty letter telling me my account was delinquent when I had been paying them $50/month (which is the most I can afford with my or other outstanding huge bills from this surgery)When I called them about the delinquency notice, they informed me they will send me to collections unless I pay them at least $a monthIt's a BS policy and poor customer service to give people no options Originally, when I was approved for a community care discount at the hospital, they told me to send the approval to ANEX so they could discount my bill with them accordinglyThe hospital knocked 55% off my billANEX said they'd take a measly $off my bill if I paid it all off in monthswhich I couldn't afford to do anywaySeriouslyThis company does not care about people, only moneyIf you are having surgery and find out the anesthesiologist is through ANEX, ask for someone (ANYONE) elseThey are the worst medical facility I have ever dealt with, hands down
