Mr. [redacted] has seemed to misremembered the circumstances that occurred involving the repair(s) to his cell phone.
Mr. [redacted], HIMSELF, removed the screws via his personal drill. Phone Monki does not, nor has ever, owned a drill and...

would never utilize such a device for such a delicate repair.
Mr. [redacted] has clearly never exercised proper care and maintenance of his device, as exhibited by the use of his drill and the manner in which we received the device - shoved under our door, onto our brick foyer, without ANY type of case or protection whatsoever.
I deeply regret having attempted to help Mr. [redacted], as it is evident that he is attempting to have Phone Monki, pay for his irresponsible behavior.
Please see the attached response that was issued when the device in question was returned; with proper care, I might add.
I would like this matter resolved swiftly, as I do not wish to have our reputation sullied, based on fabrications made by Mr. [redacted].

The Repairman had used the wrong size screw driver which stripped the screw in the first place. With the right size to begin with, it would have never been stripped and thus the need to drill it out. The repair man use his drill to try and remove the screw at this office. The drill was out of power and he said he left his charger at home. At that point I offered to make a trip to my home and remove the screw with my drill to enable him to continue with the repair. I agreed. I did so and he continued the repair when I returned with the phone. The same day the speaker was garbled and camera did not work. He then ordered a new camera at no cost and tried to fix the speaker. Camera was repaired when new part arrived but speaker never worked correctly any further with just 1/2 it's volume. I put up with the speaker issue but when the phone started to turn off and on by itself several time a day, I knew I could not have them repair it again. They had made several attempts over 30 days with (6) trips to their office. No one was there midday so I slipped it under their door with receipt for the new phone I had to purchase, which was used from eBay and 1/3 the cost, and asked they remove the battery I paid for and cover the cost of the new phone. As you know, they refused. Net Net, they cause the screw to be stripped when they used the wrong tool to remove it, they tried to drill it out but their drill was out of power, they agreed to my offer to drill the screw with my drill at my home and then return it to them which I did in 30 minutes for them to continue the repair.

Phone Monki will not be held responsible for the cost of replacing the phone. Screw was not stripped by Phone Monki. Damaging drilling occurred off site at customer's home. End of discussion on the issue.
