I don't write many reviews but my experience with Phoenix Awning was so positive and professional, that I felt I had to share it. Every single person I spoke with or met was helpful, knowledgeable and committed to making us happy. And the product and installation exceeded our expectations. Our home is 15 - 20 degrees cooler because of the thoughtful design and it looks beautiful too. Thank you Simon and the entire team. We love our new shade!
The 4ft by 2ft awning made by Phoenix Tent & Awning looked adequate enough. However, they obviously used pieces of fabric - scraps - with a seam down the middle of the awning. When the stitching in the seam failed, it was "never mind that the fabric is ok, we cannot re-stitch the seam." Their solution was: to sell me a new awning.
I replaced the awning, using another company - The House of Canvas - and they used ONE piece of fabric. no seam down the middle.
