Hi, in November of 2017, I bought a washing machine in the Philips Appliance & Mattress store; On February 20, 2018, it stopped working. I went to the store to claim, because I have not used it practically, because I was out of my house in December for the holidays, and the owner told me, that he only gives a month of Warranty. He never warned me about this, and he told me they were new machines when I asked if they were used machines the day I bought them.
I want to emphasize, that I am a lady with low income, and I no longer have money to repair a machine that I buy trusting in a local store; and that I live alone and every 7-15 days I do wash sheets and towels with the machine, and some small clothes.
I also want to say, that I lost everything during Hurricane Irma in September of 2017, and that I used all my savings to move to Lakeland Florida, and buy appliances and furniture to start a new life at 67 years of age.
Please, I want to recover my money, to buy another washing machine, in another place where they do not sell defective machines.

Refund I am a lady with low income, and I no longer have money to repair a machine that I buy trusting in a local store. I almost did not use it! Hello,
We have read through your complaint and we wanted to reply to it. There were quite a few errors in the consumer's original complaint and I want to address them.
When she talked about not being warned of the 30 day warranty, I have it posted within the actual store and I told her about the 30 day warranty as well.
For the second error, she said in the complaint that I told her that the machine is new. That is also false as well. I told her in the store that the machine is refurbished. I don't have any new appliances (she would not have been able to buy this product at the price she paid for if it was new), I only sell refurbished appliances. This is also stated on my website and you can see it on Google when you look up information on my store. Also, I tell my customers about that when they are buying the product.
The final error in her complaint is that she stated that she has not used the machine practically but she says that she used the machine once every 1 to 2 weeks. She bought the machine in November of 2017 and had it working until February of 2018. We can count off December of 2017 since she says that she was away from home. Even if December isn't counted, she must have been using it a couple of times between November, January, and February.
We don't know how she used the machine and what she had put into the machine.
From,
