Complaint Information: My name is ***, I am the owner of Pet Pals Grooming Salon as well as the person that groomed *** dog ***I groomed *** on Saturday, April 2,He was dropped off at the salon about noon timeI groomed *** and called for him to be picked up
While he was at the salon there was no indication of any injuryI bathed him, dried him clipped his toe nails and then gave him a haircutI definitely would have noticed if there was something wrong with himI would also like to state I have plus years under my belt of grooming as well as over years working closely with Veterinarians*** contacted me by text exactly one week after *** was groomed asking if anything happened to him while being groomedI immediately called her to find out what was going onShe said he was bleeding all over from his foot and bit her and her daughterI told her if she would like to meet me so I can take a look and possibly see what was wrongShe said she couldn't come, so I asked her to send pictures via textShe didThere was nothing visible in the pictures, only looked like her dog had been licking his foot and possibly developing a hot spotI sent her this message and in reply she said," I will take him to the vet and if they deem from grooming I will send you the bill"I was very upset to see what she wrote and think I hurt her petI want to note if I ever saw anything wrong I would contact the owner asapIf I mistakenly hurt a pet I would take responsibilityI told *** to call me and I would meet her at the vet or have her vet contact me with more info on what was going on with himShe never didShe called me days after the initial grooming and said she just came back from the vet and they had to remove the dogs toenail under sedationShe also said if I was going to pay the billI told her, no because she never complied with anything I asked of herThe timeline didn't match upI told her I needed sometime and I wanted to seek advice from an attorneyThe next day she writes info on social networks such as *** *** and God knows where elseShe is trying to ruin my character as a person and business ownerShe later sent me a certified letter from herself and a vet invoiceThere was nothing from the Drstating it was from groomingI decided to give her $toward her dog's vet billI asked her to please take the stuff that she wrote about me downShe said she would and did not remove everythingAll though I did not harm her pet I felt bad for him and wanted to contribute what I couldI later contacted her vet...(which I probably should have done once I received the invoice from ***) I spoke to "-----"(want to keep names safe) and said "Dr.---", said it was not fair to say the injury of the split toenail occurred during grooming and that the timeline did not add upIn ***'s letter she lies and says the Drtold her it was from groomingI could go on and onIf the Revdex.com needs other documentation that is not suitable to be online for the public to see, I will submit it to the Revdex.com directlyThank youSent on: 5/6/9:31:AM
