RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to... complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: THE ONLY OTHER WORK REQUESTED WAS FOR A NYS INSPECTION WHICH I WAS TOLD WOULD COST ONLY $10 BECAUSE I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM THE DEALER. THERE WAS NO OTHER WORK REQUESTED OTHER THAN THE 15,000 MILE SERVICE AND THE NYS INSPECTION. OTHER THAN THESE TWO ITEMS, I WAS NVEVER INFORMED THAT THERE WOULD BE ANY EXTRA WORK DONE ON MY CAR. I QUESTIONED THE QUOTE AT THE TIME I INITIALLY SIGN IT AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS JUST A QUOTE. In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above. The refund was processed and mailed out alreadyWe are in the process of stopping payment on that check and issuing a new one to the address she provided to Revdex.comThe address we have on file for her is a NY addressThe check was not returned as undeliverable so we had no reason to believe that she didn't forward her mail when she moved to Virginia

The technician was unable to duplicate the banging noise the customer was concerned about so he was called to road test along with the technician where again there was no banging noiseIt's our policy to road test the vehicle when we are unable to find any problem so that the customer has the
opportunity to demonstrate the noise with the technician thereWe did spend time trying to duplicate the customers concers to no avail and our shop like every shop has a posted labor rate which unfortunately is the customers responsibility whether a repair is completed or not

Nothing accurate about the complaintCustomer was unable to provide the stipulations required by the lender to be approved for the terms requested(customer was and still is not a permanent resident of the United States)This was told to us by the customers wife when she called to trade the vehicle for another a few weeks backAt that time she first brought up that they had requested a month loan when buying the Veloster, Obviously all the paperwork is for a longer term and they signed for those terms and only a year later are bringing up these lies in attempt to slander usI spoke to this gentleman's wife numerous times over the last couple of months about coming in to trade the vehicle for something else but which she kept saying she was gonna do, but now she has changed her mind and decided to try to slander us in attempt to get out of the obligations she made with the lenderFor the record a Veloster is a passenger compact car and a Santa Fe is a midsize/fullsize SuvThere is no confusing the two

The warranty was cancelled as of 12/**/Enclosed you will find the electronic cancellation requestUnfortunately refunds are not instant as we have to receive the money from the warranty company prior to refunding the customer

I am making a complaint against the dealership at this timeThe Corporation did not do anything wrong yet I have file a complaint into the corporation against the inappropriate professional miaconductsThere is a case number within the corporation and the regional office will be notifying
me within business daysI would not mind dealing with Star Hyundai if it means they will make attempts to rectify this mistakeI do not want to get stuck in a vicious cycle of playing games as I have stated the have in the pastIt would take a real professional courage to undo all they have done wrong so far

I cancelled my Extended insurance policy that I purchased with this companyThe insurance company has informed me that my refund of $was sent to the dealership electronically and received by the delearship on 3/**/I have still not received my refund from the dealership and no one at the dealership is willing to tell me if my refund has been sent out or return my callsI consider this to be an unacceptable way of conducring their business and would like my refundIt has been almost a month since they have received it. The customer signed a written estimate prior to service was performed and that was what he was charged upon picking up the vehicle. There was additional work performed outside the 15k mike service.

Hi James. I spoke with the service manager Mike who has offered to go over any questions you have with the bill. According to the repair order there was additional services performed which are written on the repair order acknowledged by you. We certainly don't want to lose a customer or to have you feel like you paid for services you did not receive, however I can merely go by the paperwork I have. Please contact mike the service manager at [redacted] and he can answer any questions you have in regards to the money paid vs services provided
