Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The business admits that I approved repairs on original estimateWhen additional repairs were required the business should have contacted me and the insurance company for approval before completing the additional work. This disagreement is between the business and the insurance company, my vehicle is being held hostage by the business in order to receive payment, I have fulfilled my deductible payment and my vehicle should be released
I have a disabled wife and raising my year old grandson. They are left at home without any means for travel. If this continues I will be forced to get a rental car. You are correct I may need to get an attorney, but I will be seeking compensation for the rental vehicle and damages from the businessThe business is at fault for completing the additional work without seeking approval

I would like to reject the offer of Arbitration for complaint ID [redacted]. I feel the repair shop will not pay back the additional $730.11 they added to the insurance adjuster cost. They are well known for over charging or adding fees that they know the customer will have to pay to get their vehicle back. I will not recommend their services to anyone in fact I will discourage people needing repairs done to take the vehicles to Perfect Reflection.

Quote from [redacted] Attorney:
Insurance contracts are interpreted by judges and courts toeffectuate only the objectively reasonable expectations of theinsured. Any personal, or subjective, expectation of a policyholderwhich cannot be reasonably supported by the language of thecontract is unenforceable. It matters not what thepolicyholder/customer truly and honestly believes in his or her ownmind. That subjective opinion is never in issue in a court of law.The real contest is to decide what the words of the policy mean toan objective person or a disinterested, common reader. So, whenreading an insurance policy, the words selected by the insurancecompany are to be interpreted by judges according to their plainmeaning. A plain meaning is one which an ordinary person wouldattach to such words, not the meaning which might be utilized byan insurance company executive or an attorney.Exclusions and limitations in a policy, because they often result indenying coverage when there is a loss, must be in clear andwritten in unmistakable language. It is for this reason thatexclusions and limitations are always narrowly, or strictly, construed. If there is more than one meaning to be given to anexclusion or a limitation, the narrowest interpretation will beadopted by the court. Any exclusionary clause that is not clear andconspicuous will be interpreted in the interests of the insured.
My responsibility is to repair the vehicle in a high quality workmanlike manor, document the work performed and otherwise comply with the Washington's Automotive Repair Act. I have fulfilled all of those obligations.
