February 5, 2016RE: [redacted] In regards to the complaint concerning the overdraft fees applicable to internal account transfers, we have refunded the protested fees and have reached out to the customer with a solution to stop this from occurring in the future. We have recommended for a second time that the customer change her online banking transfers to the day after her payroll processing dateThis would eliminate the overdraft occurrence when a holiday is celebrated on a Monday. If further clarification is needed, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####, ext***.Sincerely,Michael JExecutive Vice President Chief Risk Officer
March 4, 2016In reference to the statement "shouldn't you also release my payroll check before the holiday' this may not be a viable option, in that the release is dependent on when the payroll deposit is received by the bankWe recommend to all customers looking to do these types of transfer to allow a day or so after the direct deposit posts to initiate the transfer.Sincerely,Michael J.Chief Risk Officer

Complaint: [redacted]
I accept the refund however I am rejecting this response because:
Jake,Previously issues in regards to internal transfers was not a result of a holiday transfer therefore I was not aware and never informed that transfers would be made before the holiday. The issues that occurred to my account was a direct result of updating the online banking system. In the past I was able to scheduled payments that would not debit my account until funds were available. This is when one of the Branch Managers informed me to to have funds transfer the same day as my check would clear, not after. If the policy is to schedule online transfers before the holiday shouldn't you also release my payroll check before the holiday? My solution to avoid transfer overdrafts is to have my payroll department deposit into the separate accounts directly since I have not been in contact with anyone outside of this complaint.
Regards,

Review: I am attempting to close out a credit card with Peoples Security. My bank made an overpayment of $288.09. I was sent a statement from Peoples Trust that says if you would like a check for the overpayment please write to us and we will send it. I wrote a note on March 16, 2014 and as of June 9, 2014 I have not yet received the money back. At the time of closing the account the cards did not even function…and calls to Peoples Security (formerly Penn Security) employees could not locate my account. Today, they have now sent me new credit cards. I want my $288.09.Desired Settlement: Send me my money!
