People's Choice was recommended to me by a friend after complaining how difficult it was to get a porch contractor to look at my home on the south side of Chicago. Leonard, the owner, returned my call and promptly sent a crew out to see the project. They made suggestions on how to improve the existing configuration and construction and we entered into a contract shortly thereafter. The project went smoothly after a delay with ordering the materials. Demolition and construction of the sub-structure were done quickly; a day was lost while waiting for the surface materials to come in but I was kept informed of the progress and rather than waste a day waiting, the crew came to remove the trash and clean the site. They were at the site again the next day as soon as the materials were available and worked steadily to finish the job. I had concerns about what appeared to be some damaged spindles and Leonard sent the crew out the next day to inspect them and clean them up, resolving my concerns. This company just recently finished a rather large deck at my home. Not only will I express the Happiness I have but I will say that I wish I could have them build thousands of more! They were INCREDIBLE, My deck looks like that of one out of Better homes and gardens. They finished it in 8 working days and the detail and thought that went into every nook and cranny was to the T! The workers were VERY nice and didn't stop to take a break, minus lunch which they took 20 min tops. I would recommend this Company to ANYONE looking to do any work to their home.

Leonard was really great to work with! He made excellent suggestions and was completely unflappable when faced with the plumbing and electrical issues left behind after the original condo conversion of our building (before we lived here). Peter, the workman assigned to us, was incredibly tidy and his attention to detail was very impressive. We would definitely recommend People's Choice and look forward to future projects with them!

People's Choice was in the middle cost-wise, but I felt the cheaper one was going to do a cheap job. Leonard answered the phone every time I needed to talk to him. He introduced his crew, the first day. They were always quiet and respectful of our home. I have a business in the house and they never disturbed me while I was working. Leonard called frequently to make sure we were happy with the progress. It took an extra day to complete the work because the wiring needed to be redone, but we were kept informed along the way. It was less than $1000 over the estimate because of the extra day. Our bathroom is beautiful, I couldn't be more satisfied. I will be hiring People's Choice again when we remodel our kitchen.
