Review: My complaint is I enrolled for July 21st to PEENCO TECH on June 9th 2015. I called back on the same day and told them I was canceling the enrollment and I wanted my 100.00 deposit reimburse. I spoke with [redacted] on this number [redacted]. He said that it was fine and he would reimburse me the deposit. I called back on June 12th 2015 at 12:00 to ask if I could have something in writing stating I'm not enrolled in their course and Mr [redacted] said they don't have any forms or letters that show the cancelation of course and we should just trust him that they weren't going to charge us the tuition. I'm requesting that the company send letter that I'm no longer enrolled. That youDesired Settlement: I need a letter stating that I'm not enrolled at the PENNCO Tech and my 100.00 deposit will be reimbursed.
Review: I attend nighttime medical assistant course three nights a week for four hours. It is a 11 month course and we started in September and we end in August. We have gone through 3 teachers and are starting with a new one on Wednesday(06/04/2014). We have not learned much at all and this is the problem I am having with the school. We attend class and don't do any work. We take hour breaks, we receive tons of packets and we do nothing with them. We do a different body system almost everyday, we never stay on course with the syllabus. We have never learned anything about blood or taken any tests on it but yet we did live blood draws on each other in March and the school also doesn't allow live blood draws but our teacher decided it was okay. We have taken I believe one test recently and the other we took was an open book test. When we got that back to correct our answers we discussed our answers with the other classmates and we realized we all had different wrong answers for the same questions. We "fixed" our answers and the teacher ended up losing the test so then we had to retake it. We have perfect attendance and A averages for our grades but yet we are never tested on any of the curriculum. On Thursday(05/29/14) I went to class, no teacher or director came into our room til 6:20pm. He said we didn't have a teacher and he needed to find out we were doing. The directors of the school know about the ongoing situation and all they seem to say is that we can learn everything within in two months. It is an 11 month course so I don't understand how that is possible. We constantly combine classes which also doesn't make sense because we should be on two totally different subjects in the course. I really need help. I have to pay $6900 to this school who has done absolutely nothing for me. I am so disappointed with this situation and I really need some help. We have gone through three teachers now and are getting a new one again when we are 9 months into the course.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund from this school for the total amount due to the fact of such inconvenience and waste of time for the total amount of the eleventh month course. I would like something to be done about this school.
Review: My husband had gone into pennco tech to find out further information. With doing so there was one contract signed where they hold a $100.00 deposit to hold a spot in a class for you. With them taking that money and in the contract it was understood and listed that if you change your mind within 3days and provide them something in writting stating that you will be fully refunded the $100.00 deposit. After thinking it thru one day and seeing how bad reviews were on the school the VERY next day we supplied them with the information needed to cancel and get the money back. It is now 2 months later numerous phone calls to their office speaking to people and no resolution and our money still has not been refunded. We have the fax confirmation and all information to back up the issue and they still give a run around and have not refunded any of our money and dont seem to be promising to at all. Constant let me call you back and no phone calls. There was a contract signed and agreed to money paid and everything done on our end to stick by those guidelines to get our money back and still going thru every day phone calls to get this resolved. When all we want is our $100.00 back since it was agreed we could PER THE CONTRACT. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: WE would like our $100.00 back which they owe us.
Review: I visited Pennco Tech's Blackwood, NJ location, August 7, 2013. I was seeking information on starting a new part time career. I met with Admissions Rep, [redacted] that evening, who gave me an overview & tour of the school. I also took the admissions test to see if Iqualified to attend this school, which I passed, and was advised I would be accepted, for the school year starting 11/11/13. I advised Steve, after he presented the courserequirements and cost, that my decision, would be based on the school aid & loans I mayqualify for, so I would come back another time. He said to complete the enrollment agreement, so I could file the for the Federal Government Financial & Loans, State Aid would not be available, attending this school. He requested a $100 Deposit, which I did not want to provide, until I saw what financial aid was available to me. He told me this was just to hold a spot, if and when I decided to attend the November 2013 program. He said it was refundable, even though after reading and signing the Enrollment Agreement, it said the Registration Fee, was not.He said this was only a deposit. After meeting with the Financial Aid Department on 8/7/13 & 8/26/13 at Pennco Tech, who presented the Federal Financial Aid I was to receive. I advised them it was not as much as I thought and I had to take some time to review my personal finances and see if this would be affordable for me, during the 2 years, it would take to complete this course.I finally decided, financially this program was not affordable for me. I contacted [redacted] some time the first week of October and told him I could not attend at this time. I requested a refund of my $100 deposit, which he said he would process back to my credit card. I called again, 10/14/13 and a school rep, contacted Steve, who told them he processed my refund request. I called again on 10/18/13 and was told to check my credit card in a few days. (Continue under desired settlement)Desired Settlement: Later that day [redacted] called me to advise me 2 things, first I hadpassed the date to which to cancel my enrollment and that the registration fee was notrefundable. I told him that this information was never told to me at any of the meetings I had with him or the Financial Aid Dept. I had asked about these 2 issues, when I first met with him and he told me it was justprocedure and not to worry. Never did he mention that there was a deadline.I would just like my $100 Deposit refunded.
