 Totally not true. First off, it's common knowledge that usually the first visit or so to a dentists office, they do a whitening. I had a extraction and that was it. There was no follow up. I never scheduled a follow up. I had 2 appointments, they were both paid for and that's that. Why are they after 4 years all of a sudden looking for money ?

forced to charge him if he broke another appointment. When he broke his next appointment he was charged $45.00. This patient came for two more visits. For the treatment the patient mentioned, he paid his responsibility. For the treatment done on the subsequent visit this patient never paid what was due after the insurance company paid their part. To set the record straight, this patient never had whitening in our office. Several statements were sent to him regarding this balance. On 12/**/12 our secretary spoke to the patient. He said he could not come in at that time for the remainder of the treatment needed and scheduled an appointment for January, 2013. When advised of his outstanding balance he said he couldn't make that payment until 2013. When that appointment was broken, the office left messages on the patient's voice mail. He did not respond. Since this is a busy office, past due accounts were not reviewed until recently. This account was sent to a collection agency. According to the agency they added the legally allowed interest to this patient's original balance. We are willing to credit this patient's account for the broken appointment fee of $45.00.
