Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: According to my purchase agreement, I purchased ETHOS According to warranty paperwork, I signed for two warranties, ETHOS and United Car CareETHOS was registered for a day free trail and United Car Care was registered as the primaryHowever, I was informed at time of purchase I was purchasing ETHOS not United Car Care, and United Care Car was part of ETHOS The two warranties differ greatly in coverage and deductibles I was never given an opportunity to change or cancel my warranties when I brought this issue to their attention, twice within a month All the individuals I spoke with did not acknowledge the fact I purchased ETHOS at the time of purchase nor did they want to try to help fix the issue Instead they blamed it on the Finance Manager, Bryan, who is no longer employed with the company In addition, they acted like the matter was irrelevant and tried to hide the fact knowing others experienced this as well The fact that they were not honest about such nor tired to resolve the issue is the reason I filed this complaint Every time I brought this to their attention they stated I purchased United Care Car instead of ETHOS even though the second time I showed them the paperwork The first time I brought this to their attention, I was given an opportunity to cash out my warranty to apply as a down payment for another care The second time, the General Manager did not want to acknowledge such and walked off At that time, I left a copy of the purchase agreement wth another guy who then took it directly to the GM for review A few days later I was contacted by the manger of the used car lot trying to make things "right" by offering me more money for my traand less money for a car What I asked for from the beginning was Pen Sub register my ETHOS warranty in which I purchased or cash me out the full $2,999, the original price of the warranty in which I purchase but was not registered with that specific company according to my purchase agreement Thank you for your time Sincerely, [redacted]

If the customer would like to cancel the United Care Care they will get their money back. If they would like to get the Ethos warranty we can help them we would need them to come in and we will help change the warranty from United Car Care to Ethos. They can come in or contact me directly. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because: According to my purchase agreement, I purchased ETHOS. According to warranty paperwork, I signed for two warranties, ETHOS and United Car Care. ETHOS was registered for a 90 day free trail and United Car Care was registered as the primary. However, I was informed at time of purchase I was purchasing ETHOS not United Car Care, and United Care Car was part of ETHOS. The two warranties differ greatly in coverage and deductibles. I was never given an opportunity to change or cancel my warranties when I brought this issue to their attention, twice within a month. All the individuals I spoke with did not acknowledge the fact I purchased ETHOS at the time of purchase nor did they want to try to help fix the issue. Instead they blamed it on the Finance Manager, Bryan, who is no longer employed with the company. In addition, they acted like the matter was irrelevant and tried to hide the fact knowing others experienced this as well. The fact that they were not honest about such nor tired to resolve the issue is the reason I filed this complaint. Every time I brought this to their attention they stated I purchased United Care Car instead of ETHOS even though the second time I showed them the paperwork. The first time I brought this to their attention, I was given an opportunity to cash out my warranty to apply as a down payment for another care. The second time, the General Manager did not want to acknowledge such and walked off. At that time, I left a copy of the purchase agreement wth another guy who then took it directly to the GM for review. A few days later I was contacted by the manger of the used car lot trying to make things "right" by offering me more money for my trade-in and less money for a car. What I asked for from the beginning was Pen Sub register my ETHOS warranty in which I purchased or cash me out the full $2,999, the original price of the warranty in which I purchase but was not registered with that specific company according to my purchase agreement. Thank you for your time.
