The following is our response to complaint #ID [redacted]
 
1. Pellegrino Paving seal coated [redacted]'s driveway on 6/**/2014.  This is one of seven driveways we sealed that day
2. Pellegrino Paving has been in business for over 30 years - we do NOT seal coat driveways in the...

rain.
3. The other six customers paid for their seal coat job in full (3 that day and the remaining 3 within the next 2 weeks).  [redacted] has not paid for the seal coat job.
4. When a customer is not home we leave an invoice in the mail box - 3 customers paid, [redacted] states she never received an invoice.
5. It is our experience that if one of our customers has a complaint or is not satisfied with a seal coat job - they will call within the next 2 or 3 days - they usually do not wait over 97 days to generate a complaint.
6. As mentioned earlier we have not been paid - we called twice in September and left messages, they were not returned.
7. It is our belief that [redacted] generated this complaint to the Revdex.com based on the fact that we were finally able to reach her by phone on 10/*/14 requesting payment.  At that time she told us she never received an invoice (we mailed her another copy) and that she was not satisfied with the job that was done back in June.
8. This was our first year to provide services to [redacted] - she states that she has had the driveway seal coated for the past seven years by other - Why didn't she continue to use their services.
 
There is really no additional action we can take - Pellegrino Paving provided the services requested for an agreed to price - on the date requested - and we were never paid.  Now, months later we are being accused of inferior workmanship and [redacted] wants us to re-seal her driveway and still has not mentioned if we will ever get paid.

Review: This company sealed my driveway in the rain. As previously stated by the company when scheduling this servive I was told they scheduled acording to weather the video cameras on my house clearly indicate it was raing on 6/**/14. The driveway now has white lines where the water congregated in the cracks and the sealant did not adhere properly. I have been tby several other paving companies that this is why the driveway looks the way it does. I was visited by [redacted] from the company on 10/*/14; he stated that yes this is water damage but has nothing to do with the fact that the driveway was sealed in the rain. The only concern he had was collecting payment. At that time I refused to pay the bill for two reasons 1) the company has never provided me with an itemized bill; in fact he had on in his hands and refused to provide me with a copy, 2) the job is inferior and should be corrected before payment; which he also refused to do. This driveway was installed 7 years ago and has been sealed every year a few cracks have appeard in the last few years but I have never had this problem before ; obviously this is inferior workmanship.Desired Settlement: Correct and repair of inferior workmanship in a timely fashion; which would be before the winter months so that the driveway is protected.
