of purchase on 12/02/15. Our location is a franchise and we explained in the best way that we could that the promotion she is asking for cannot be combined with the discount we gave to her fiance. The Buy One Get One promotion on the Pearlve Vision website does state that there are certain restrictions on the purchase and varies between locations. We did explain this and gave her an alternate pricing if she were to use the Buy One Get One (BOGO) promo. However, going that route would result in spending more than the discount we gave her, which is the 30% off an entire pair. The BOGO is restricted to a value of $250 off on the second pair. We broke down the cost between the 30% off promotion if she was getting 2 pairs and the BOGO deal. The full price on the glasses without discount was $544. She was only charged one pair for $380.80 plus the office visit that was $70. We explained again that if she were to opt for the BOGO, we would have to charge full price and the second pair would only be $250 off. The lowest option to be covered under that value would be our economy frame with our single vision plastic lenses. Patient didn't want to get the single vision option because he wears multi-focal which is an upgrade. The pair that was purchased was progressive lenses with transition features. These are add-ons which cost more than our standard lenses. If the patient got a duplicate pair as a second with the BOGO, the total would be $838. The 30% promo with the 2 same pairs would total out to be $761.60. Results ended with the 30% off 2 pairs would save her more, than the BOGO. She was insistent on getting the second pair at no charge. With these restrictions, we cannot meet her expectations, but we have been trying to give her the best offer we can. We have called Ms. [redacted] once again to explain and see if we can resolve this once and for all, but only got to her voicemail. We hope this clears up any misunderstandings.
