While *** Apartments does not recall the conversation we had with the management office employee (Alexis) unfortunately it did happen and it resulted in me being given informationBeing first-time renters we naively trusted this employee and now we feel that we have been taken advantage ofWe have talked to the management office several times but cannot reach an agreement, the personnel have not been any helpful and lately they’ve been acting very rude and impoliteWe don’t understand why Sienna Apartments doesn’t assume responsibility for something that did happenWe hope that PBbell can understand our situation and help us reach an agreement on good terms with *** ApartmentsThanks

We would like to thank Luis and Daisy for choosing *** Apartments and a PB Bell Community as their home. Luis and Daisy rented with *** apartments starting in 2014. On 8-5-15 the residents transferred from one unit to another and signed a new lease including, initialing the
paragraph outlining the notice to vacate requirements (written day written notice)Our office does attempt to provide a renewal notice to all residents to days before lease end (this is a courtesy renewal reminder provided to all residents but is not required by the legal agreement). The office made three attempts to hand deliver the courtesy renewal letter in December, January and FebruaryThe manager and staff do not recall any conversation with either resident stating to “just turn in keys”. The manager did have a conversation with Luis on 3-11-and 3-14-and these conversation were related to what options the residents had to fulfill the legal agreement and notice period required. Per the legal agreement no oral promises, representation or agreement have been made, by Owner or managementThe rental agreement is the entire agreement between the parties, and management (including employees, leasing personnel and other personnel) has no authority to waive, amend or terminate this rental agreement or any part of it and has no authority to make promises, representation or agreements which impose duties of security or other obligations on Owner or Management unless done in writing While we understand that everyone has personal situations and occurrences as part of their daily lives, the leasing personnel and manager must follow the legal agreement and impose the same policies and procedures for all residents. Again, we thank the residents for choosing *** Apartments, a PB Bell Community. The staff will be more than happy to assist as allowed by the legal agreement and we urge the residents to revisit their options with the manager onsite

Again, we understand your frustration and the inconvenience of the situation.  However, we must follow the legal agreement which clearly states a written 60 day notice is required.  The lease not only is signed but also includes initials for each significant paragraph of the legal agreement including the paragraph which states the notice requirements.  The residents signed the lease and initialed the paragraph which outlined the notice requirements. We are compassionate and would love to make an exception however, deviation from the legal agreement and policy is a potential legal risk if the same exception is not provided for all residents that do not provide the required notice in the legal agreement (lease).  For that reason, we cannot make an exception to the notice period.  The office is able to work with the resident on options within the law and policies to help them through this situation.  Thank you for choosing [redacted] Apartments.

We are truly sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.  We reissued a check and Mr. [redacted] has picked up the $250 refund from our corporate office on 6/26/17.  The issue has been resolved.Thank you.P.B. Bell Asset Management

opportunities for improvement.   The frustration you’ve expressed about your experience at Montage is regrettable. We are happy to address some of your concerns to help clarify some of our policies.   We do charge a fee to residents when trash outside becomes unsightly and excessive, but only after giving a resident a courtesy notice first, as we did with you previously.   We welcome visits from residents at our leasing office, and actually prefer to address resident concerns in person. However, those interactions need to be conducted in a professional manner, absent foul language.    It is our policy to return calls from residents at the corporate level within 24 hours, as we did when you reached out to us. If you recall, we spoke about your desire to vacate your lease, and we advised you of the procedure we follow. We can not force people to stay.   We are committed to creating premium living experiences for our residents and regret when residents choose to leave. But, we wish you luck and we are happy to help facilitate your move from Montage.
