Hi ***,Thank you very much There were two issues with this particular client Both of which have been resolved prior to this email The first issue:Our fee structure is relatively simple and is based on the number of employees paid We charge a fee per payroll processed Unfortunately, for this client she would routinely process her payroll and omit employees She would then call in a second payroll the following day after electronic transactions had been submitted to the bank and request that additional employees be paid This was so common that instead of processing payrolls per year, she ended up processing payrolls We emailed her a full set of reports after every process detailing our charges and she had debits on her bank account that matched our invoices exactly Her argument to us was that we should only charge her times per year no matter how many times she processes Please note that in all instances where our mistake was the reason for any process, we waive the fees However, if an employer makes an error and wishes to correct it before the next payroll - we charge to process that payroll This is industry standard. The second issue:She set up a second company with us and told us that it would be processing quarterly Our charge to process quarterly is higher than a bi-weekly payroll ($compared to $20) At some point in the year, she switched her frequency to bi-weekly but her billing did not get changed and she ended up being overcharged for approximately months In January, - we re-calculated the overbilling on issue #and we gave her a refund of approximately $- which we acknowledge was our error Approximately months later after some mediation, we agreed to give her an additional $to satisfy complaint #even though we felt our charges were justified So at this point this client has been fully refunded. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.Sincerely, [redacted] Payroll Service Plus Phone: 800- [redacted] x [redacted] Cell: 714- [redacted] www.payrollpayroll.com

processed. Unfortunately, for this client she would routinely process her payroll and omit employees. She would then call in a second payroll the following day after electronic transactions had been submitted to the bank and request that additional employees be paid. This was so common that instead of processing 26 payrolls per year, she ended up processing 38 payrolls. We emailed her a full set of reports after every process detailing our charges and she had debits on her bank account that matched our invoices exactly. Her argument to us was that we should only charge her 26 times per year no matter how many times she processes. Please note that in all instances where our mistake was the reason for any process, we waive the fees. However, if an employer makes an error and wishes to correct it before the next payroll - we charge to process that payroll. This is industry standard. The second issue:She set up a second company with us and told us that it would be processing quarterly. Our charge to process quarterly is higher than a bi-weekly payroll ($95 compared to $20). At some point in the year, she switched her frequency to bi-weekly but her billing did not get changed and she ended up being overcharged for approximately 8 months. In January, 2015 - we re-calculated the overbilling on issue #2 and we gave her a refund of approximately $1370.00 - which we acknowledge was our error. Approximately 4 months later after some mediation, we agreed to give her an additional $1000.00 to satisfy complaint #1 even though we felt our charges were justified. So at this point this client has been fully refunded. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.Sincerely,[redacted] Payroll Service Plus Phone: 800-[redacted] x[redacted] Cell: 714-[redacted] www.payrollpayroll.com
Review: Payroll Service Plus owes Herbal Wisdom the sum of $2,300 because they automatically withdrew from our bank account without sending us an itemized payroll report. The company took advantage of their privilege to automatically withdraw from our account without speaking with us or sending us any documentation as to what the charges are for. After discovering that they did not send us any itemized payroll report we asked them to send us one and found that we had been charged for fees that were never agreed upon and double charged for other items on the payroll report.Desired Settlement: Refund $2300 to Herbal Wisdom
