I bought a dog from this shelter and was told from the people that he was heartworm positive but was told he had a good chance of beating it as long as I gave him his medicine and followed directions to the best of my abilitiesOver the last week hehadshown more extreme signs of fatigue/inability to physically move so wellI waited two days and it never got better so I thought it best to call thesheltersince I was due to call them soon for the dogs next appointment as well and explained the situation and was told to wait until June 9th and they would get the appointment set upOn June 8th forthefirsttime my dog stood up and he collapsed like his legs were unable to support his weightThis worried me so I immediately got him to drink some water and called my mom for help who then called the on call veternarian for adviceI bought a bottle of aspirin per her advice and it seemed finally to help a little bit and Rocky fell asleepI stayed up till a.mand then took him in by 08:
