Airbnb removed this SLUMLORD off their platform
Unfortunately, not many people are diligent and hold bad businesses accountable.
For the ones of us that try to keep relevant info in the forefront, please know that multiple complaints and actions are starting against this business..
a. Airbnb removed them from their site for multiple violation.
b. Dallas Code enforcement levied multiple fines for unsafe conditions
My experience is just that, daily dealings with what I believed to be a upstanding business, but later found out the manager has a lucrative marijuana grow in the garage; the home owner is his aunt/cousin and ok with it, as long as he is bringing in $$ from the residence.
They are running a commercial business our of a residence in an area zoned as residential, boarding house/flop house environment. Back in November, the whole house had an upper respiratory infection that was SPREADING... and was everything described as COVID19 but they were bringing new people in as long as they have a $$..
I suffered 100's of dollars in doctors visits, prescriptions... uber/lyft rides across town to the doctors costing substantial $$

Dallas City Manager's office, code enforcement have taken an active position on these types of establishments and is currently forming a taskforce to address these types of neighborhood parasites.
I am seeking the sum of $460 to settle the $$ I'm out, my inconveniences due to this slumlord locale.

We have not been removed or recevied any type of action from A. We aslo have to recevied any fines or levies from the city Of Dallas. We are in good standing with both entities. I will provide the name and number of both code enforcement officers so this can be validated. We were inspected from two separate offices and did not receive any fines or levies as falsely stated. We are a legitimate business and we are certainly not growing any weed out of the garage. Which none was found by the code enforcement. We are in good standing with the city and we are reginstered wit hthe city. We pay our HOT taxes every month for both locations. In fact in the light of Covid 19 we have not been accepting any new guest to our Shared space locations out of concern for the safety and security of our guest. We ascertain and it is a known fact that Covid 19 was not in the United States or the Dallas area in November of 2019. The claims by this former guest are categorically false. We have been inspected by the city of Dallas as both of our locations because the guest called and made false claims against our business. I have the attached copies of the text message exchange between our business and the guest to show that he purposely called in some type of personal vendetta that he has against our company. You will also see evidence of this in the email exchange that I've also attached. He sent a taunting email to our company on April 9 gloating in the fact that he had called Code Enforcement on our company. He is submitting this complaint when I responded positively to his email. We are not sure why this prior guest has such a vendetta against our company. We have not serviced this guest since March 2nd and he has stayed with us off and off for the prior 4 to 6 months. We are unaware of any doctor's visits regarding this guest however we are not responsible for medical expenses of any persons.

This business, it's practices are numerous and flagrant.... they may not be conducting themselves in the manner previously, but rest assured, deceptive practices are in the works.
At 627 *** Dallas Tx XXXXX; they have 16 beds listed for occupancy... This occupancy for a residential property is in violation of occupancy standards. It would be no different, if it was illegals crowding into one dwelling... it's a code violation; but here, it's a for profit entity crowding a vulnerable population into these living conditions.
My deliberate efforts were to bring to light deceptive practices by this company, my vendetta was to equal the accountability when arrogance, ego wanted to exercise some level of authority when they believed they were unaccountable for their unlawful conduct.
I'm quite sure, when the COVID testing for antibodies becomes available; it will be shown, myself and many others that were affected with this contagious "upper respiratory infection" will show to be COVID... and this Business did nothing.

Again, we are not in violation of any occupancy standards. We have been inspected yearly by code compliance and also by the Singe Family Dwelling for rentals. What this gentleman does not know is that we have a commercial lease on this property. Yes there are 16 beds for our guest who are temporary. We do have a few long-term guests but most of our guest are in and out when we are fully functional. This is a shared space listing on A, and we have not been cited or warned for our occupancy. Again, we are also registered with the city of Dallas for Hotel Occupancy Taxes. It is not our business practice to be arrogant or have any type of ego. We provide a much-needed service to the community and to business and leisure travelers looking for nice and clean accommodations. We are not sure where this guest has stayed and his claims that he picked up Covid 19 at any our locations cannot be verified as he stays at several different locations that are similar to ours. He moves around the city all the time and if he has had something of that nature, he could have picked it up anywhere during his travels. For him to blame us for an unfounded and unverified diagnosis is ludacris. He has not been tested, never informed us that he was ill and certainly has not been tested for antibodies. We are not to blame and cannot be held responsible for such a reach specifically when a person is transient. Again this guest has a some type of personal vendetta against our company because he is upset. We have aware that he has done this same tactic to another A in the area and was thus banned from utilizing their services as well. We feel harassed at this point from this gentleman as our company only merely asked him about his departure. As you can verify from the onset of our communication with the gentleman and from subsequent communication he has no interest in common good only interest in purposely hurting our business to soothe his bruised ego, which is unwarranted as we run and business and have no personal aims at anyone.
I was treated very unfairly by the staff here regarding the attitudes with this company. No complaint made by me were handled at all in addition to me being demanded to leave by the owner of the company. I currently have mail that I'm trying to get from here being that I no longer live here, and I'm having some issues getting my mail from the staff. I paid for a whole month to live here and although I got my refund, the service here was horrible. Even done of the residents were horrid and as I said no complaints that I made to the staff were handled. I was actually threatened to leave by staff just because I had an argument with one if the residents. I found this hostel on Craigslist, no wonder I had bad issues. The owner of the company is very bad too, I can tell that she doesn't care about anything as well as her attitude. I was taken advantage of severely by the staff and the owner (Dondella) here with Patience Place Rentals, and they need a good reprimanding and a nice warning as to how they run things here
Other (requires explanation) Reprimand owner and staff with company, warn them about attitudes and safety of their operation regarding well-being of residents I would like to add my desired resolution to my complaint. I would like to be contacted by the business (management) in order to reach an agreement to resolve the matter that I'm complaining about
