While there were logistical challenges encountered by *** ***, we stand by our processWe request customers to return only the defective product experiencing the issueWe have measures in place to address when customers send us additional items backHowever, we did miss the mark hereOnce
the issue was brought to our attention our support team worked diligently to remedy the situationWe offered an additional battery for the inconvenienceWe did not provide a used product, but one which was refurbishedThey are each inspected and tested by our team before sending outThis is a common practice within the consumer spaceWe will not honor the request for a refundCustomer indicated he was receiving a refund by our retail partner
Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, *** ***
I have spoken with*** *** today regarding his concernI believe we have reached an amicable resolutionIf there are any future concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out directly
We have reviewed the correspondence with the customer, at no time did we promise a new replacement. Out warehouse sent the wrong product, but the user never reported it to be defective. We acted swiftly, and provided additional compensation for his inconvenience. He indicated he would resolve the issue with the retailer and no other action was required on our part. We did not do anything illegal.
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I want legal action taken against this company. They tried to send me a refurbished product...that was broken...as a replacement for a brand new purchase. Not only do I want this company to pay for the time and inconvenience I want this "common practice" of deception to stop for all future customers. It's illegal and unethical to promise a replacement of a brand new product with a used and broken product and expect the customer to agree to that. This entire process was the worst customer service experienced I have EVER had with product/company and I want to make sure it doesn't happen to someone else. The fact that I'm getting a refund from Brookstone (which as of today...nearly 2 months later... I still have not received) has zero conclusion to this issue with Parrot. We've had to go an purchase another Drone from another retailer...so as of right now I'm still out the money for this purchase with no product in hand. Sincerely,[redacted]
