Revdex.com spoke with the businessAt this time the customer has only been charged for the time it took to diagnose the issue with the timing beltThe customer was contacted and the business said that if the customer paid the labor for this they would waive the storage and towing fees
Thanks so much I've already paid the fees....not paying would have more than likely created a Mechanics Lien against me and I have no interest in having that on my record; plus I did not want this company to have my car anymore This is a case of a honest, hard working guy getting completely taken advantage of by a business that doesn't really have to answer for the way they treated the situationUnless you can get the fees refunded to me, please don't waste your time with this case $ [redacted] dollars does not grow on trees in my yard...so paying that money around Christmas did nothing but negatively impact my family Oh..and my car wasn't worked on at all, so I had to start at square one and get a quote from another mechanic.Sorry, I am still a little bitter; but Happy New Year! Thanks!

The business's response is ridiculous but I paid the fees just to be done with them. I spoke to a lawyer and them waiving storage fees is no favor to me. There were no grounds for charging me storage fees. If lawyers were allowed in Richmond small claims court I would have taken them to court just to make a point that they wronged me and could do it to another customer in the future. It's fine that the case is closed, but that doesn't change their service and the fact that they charged me half the agreed upon price for absolutely no work having been done to my car. They never sent me an itemized invoice and forced me to pay cash; which indicates that they might not have this job on the books at all.
