I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, provided it is executed as promised, and within the time frame promised (weeks). I did open a dispute with my bank, M&T Bank, immediately upon leaving Park AveBike Shop That dispute has now been closed, solely in response to Mr***'s promise to issue a refund on the condition that it must first be closed An *** representative closed the complain at 3:15pm today, Friday, June 10th Mr*** can confirm this information with VISA as of Monday, June 13th *** Case #***. M&T has advised me to re-open the dispute on or around July 1st, should I not receive the refund via U.SMail as Mr*** has promised, and they have added a copy of Mr***'s Revdex.com response to the dispute file They also advised me that, since most merchants issue a credit card refund vsmailing a paper check, I should request Mr*** use certified mail or other U.SPostal service that provides Proof of Delivery, to ensure there are no potential issues with my receipt of the refund as promised, that would cause the dispute to re-open I agree this is a prudent measure to take for both parties involved, so I do formally request this and authorize Mr*** to deduct the cost of such Confirmation services, up to $3, from the $refund. My *** Bank Dispute Resolution representative will call VISA on Friday, June 17th, to check that Mr*** has spoken with them to get the confirmation he has indicated he needs prior to sending the refund This gives him a full business week (days) to call and make that confirmation, which M&T Bank indicated was more than fair, since we have immediately, and in good faith, responded and closed the dispute at his request The dispute will remain closed for a full two weeks after, and re-open on July 1st, if the refund has not been received as promised.
