Paramount Insurance advertises that they are accepted everywhere which is an all out LIE. Their Dental Insurance is only good for Lucas County residents only, and when you talk to their associate, they tell you you will just have to find a way to pay for it! From what I have seen, their attitude is- we have our money, don't bother us with your petty problems.
Review: I am trying to collect monies owed to my deceased mother for overpayment of her Homeowner's Policy. [redacted], my mother died on 2/*/14 and I immediately called Paramount to report her death and request a refund. They first asked me to submit a Death Certificate, which I did and this all began on 2/**/14. I have been calling every week to hear that we sent out the refund. I was told last week that they required more documentation which I faxed over immediately to [redacted] (Fax ####-###-####). She assured me that the documentation would be forwarded to the proper department and so far I have not only heard nothing but I can't get a straight answer when I do finally get someone on the other end. The Policy [redacted] us a Homeowner's Policy. I am completely frustrated and exasperated at this point and hope you can help me. I have also written to The Dept. of Financial Services, Consumer Assistance Unit. All I want what is rightfully due us as I would like to get my mother's financial matters settled once and for all. I think they should be responsible to paying a penalty as well for dragging this out and putting us through this.Desired Settlement: A check sent ASAP to my attention - [redacted] at the address listed here.Thank you very much for your anticipated help and attention.
