I purchased a floor lamp for $It was at a reduced rate after floor staff told me PER the owner it needed a bracket ONLY I spent an hour at ACE to find the correct bracket to hold the glass lamp fixture in place As soon as I got home with the item and bracket I immediately realized the lamp wiring was bad and did not work at all!I immediately called the store - on the same day and left a message explaining what I had found I made NUMEROUS calls and left voice mail messages for someone to please contact me I requested the store owner but then asked for a manager to call meNO ONE called This makes me furious They sold me something under pretenses! It is a broken lamp! Finally ONE week of calls, and having to call again today, [redacted] the same clerk told me [redacted] would offer me a store credit!

I used this consignment shop to sell three handbagsTheir policy is they pay you your share the month after it has soldTwo bags sold in June and one in July and I am owed a total of $and have not received anything even after trying to reach the owner by phone and by stopping in the shopI’ve also emailed her but she does not respondI would like to receive the money I am owed

Bottom line: not worth your time, skip taking your stuff to this consignment shop! Shady business practices and extremely rude owner

If you consign with them, be prepared to not get paid for a long time! The majority of my items sold in Dec and then just a couple items in JanOne of the women working there said they would just pull the Jan items sold into one check (which Dec's items should have been paid in Jan), which did not happen and I waited until Feb out of courtesy before following up and because frankly it wasn't a ton of moneyThe check is supposed to be processed the following month (so Jan and Feb respectively)I called them multiple times in late Feb to try and get some answers, only to be argued with about the timing of the payments (despite having my contract which specifically mentions the items will be paid for the following month), and I was promised that "they will process my payment" many timesCome Mar I still did not have the checkI called and inquired, one of the women said, "oh, here it is in the pick up box" even though I specifically asked for them to mail it to meShe told me she would send the check, confirmed my address on file, which was correct and said she would put it in the mail that dayWell, I never received it in the mail, so then I called again in Apr because of the principal of the matter, I wanted this thing to get off my mental checklistI was then told they would put a "stop payment" on the first check and that they would drive a check out to my house and put it under my doormat; again, confirmed the correct address and everythingNo check was deliveredI have video cameras that record to the cloud for 10-days at a time and there was never someone that delivered a check to my front door, not later that day as promised, nor any following day (I also get alerts to my phone when a person walks up to my front door)I then contacted them again in early MayI was then berated by the owner and called a liarFinally received my payment on May 5th, the majority of which is over months late and after taking time out of my day to go physically pick it up at their shop

Wow, personal attacks keep flying at me from the ownerWhat 60+ year old woman attacks her customers online? I just wanted to get my check, which I had never received and would have let bygones be bygones until she called me a liar and attacked me via text message, so now I have left this reviewBeware of this unprofessional business! This owner (Monica) never tried to make things right or apologize for anything that went wrongWe never accused anyone of lying, only reported a fact that we had never recieved a hand delivered check and there was no video of anyone delivering a check to my front doorI then get a picture this morning May 6th via text (after posting this review last night May 5th) of my house from hotpads.com, which was clearly evident because there are updates to the house that I have made that are not reflected in the picture she providedGood luck if you ever want to consign there, don't say I didn't try to warn you!
