Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response Transmit Panic has sent me no Basic Instructions and no Video basic instructions I am sending Transmit Panic and the Revdex.com a PDF of the problems I'm Having with Transmit I cant get files two open on the Right and I cant add files on the Right I called Panic and asked fore Instructions and they don't take calls from my Cell Phone and they don't except my Email I have had the same Problem with Transmit weeks that after I connect do of the wrong files appear on the right so I go into Public HTML on the right and cant add the new file I made on the left Transmit Indicates there are Instructions and Video fore Uneducated People where is it? If transmit had video fore uneducated or disabled people where is it? Panic Help Menu consists of commands short cuts don't show beginners how two make it work I admit my Disability caused me two get Upset with Transmit I spending a Month trying two make it work I got my Web Host Working and rapid Weaver working and the main thing I cant make work is transmit is the same problem from day one I press connect and Files appear on the Right is my Host side so I figure I click the Public HTML folder and add the File but there is no Place two add it Two make transmit work fore me I need two get the right side of the Screen Blank or ad a empty file two drag the files from left two right If Panic had a Create a new file or way two make the Right side blank it may work The Instructions Panic should have is a Picture what two Put in the Credentials while connecting and where and how two Put the files on the Right and Transmit does not have these instructions the Video Tutorials other companies host made show a blank right page and don't show how two make it that way The attached PDF is full size screen shots of the Problems I'm having with transmit panic its proof and evidence Transmit needs two Provide Proof they help with the problem I agree transmit provides instructions and I've never seen there Video Tutorials and there Instructions are not fore just making the Product two Work Panic leaves out the Instructions two exclude the Uneducated and disabled The only thing Panic did fore me was say there were help under the help Icon it goes to help menu-are Just the commands the Revdex.com should look in the Help menu and will see there are no Basic instructions two just make it work The PDF shows what I get two work and Panic should ad evidence what they sent two help and where are the instructions two just make it work fore a class of uneducated peopleThis complaint should show the PDF I just sent them and Transmit could provide instructions how two Fix them I tried most all FTP clients and transmit seems the easiest two use fore the uneducated the other PDF clients I cant come close two figuring out Transmit may make the Most Usable FTP client fore the disabled then they love out most all basic instructions two exclude the disabled Transmit should also show what wee enter In Site Builders Like Rapid Rapid Weaver and Sparkle because the products work together and could have saved me weeks in trying two Figure it out its Just like things they could add After weeks of Submitting tickets two my Host they gave me the Bellow instructions and it turns out I had the Path Wrong 1) Make sure your FTP lock is open 2) From the main RapidWeaver screen, click the Publish button on the bottom toolbar 3) In the sheet that drops down, select the FTP tab 4) Enter our server's IP address in the "Server:" fieldIt would be [redacted] in your particular case 5) Enter your FTP username in the “Account:” fieldPlease be informed that your cPanel account's username stands for the FTP usernameIt would be [redacted] 6) Enter your FTP password in the “Password:” fieldPlease be informed that your cPanel account's password stands for the FTP password 7) You can optionally save your password in your KeychainThis will prevent you from having to enter your FTP password every time you upload your site 8) Enter "public_html/" in the "Site Path:" field in case you're uploading your main web-siteAnd enter "public_html/help" in case you're uploading content to the help.micro-bbc.com sub-domain 9) Tick the "Use passive mode" checkbox 10) Click the "Publish" button
We have tried many, many times to give this user the help they need with our software We have sent multiple e-mails with instructions on how to accomplish what they're trying to do We have even created and sent him personalized videos to guide the user through his task, to no response Not only that, we have even offered a full refund of our product, no questions asked Despite trying every possible way to assist this user, they have not accepted our help Put simply: we don't know what else to do Since our many offers of help have not been wanted or understood, I have just proactively refunded the user the full amount they paid for our software I am sorry it did not work for them and I'm hopeful they can find another product that meets their needs
