I am rejecting this response because:
This business is wasting your and my timeThey have essetnially taken the letter they sent weeks back on this forum and pasted it again.I have opened a formal complaint with NJ Consumer affairs who have forwarded it to ** *** ** *** *** for further action.Their claim of 3-reviews on *** et al doesnt make them less of a cheat and trying to scam customersOn the contrary if they had been out there doing business ethically, one would expect them to have more reviews and less of harassment complaints.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:As I have stated in my last response, I had requested and reached out to Palmasano plumbing after getting referenced by [redacted] and listed on the first call that my intention is simply to get quote as I am shopping to find which plumber will give me the right estimate/best price. It is standard practice and I didn't hide that from them. I did reach out and got estimates of work from 2 other "5 star plumbers" who are listed on top at [redacted] or wherever else. No one else had that complaint or I didn't have to deal with such headache for any other plumber as they all were nice, ethical and "not racist". They gave an estimate!I didn't sign any contract or agreement or paper work with Palmasano nor did they sent any information in written in advance which is a proof regarding a charge for coming to my home (at a time that was not planned) and charging for estimate/work that was not done in the first place. They can make up an estimate and charge me whatever amount they want; I didn't agree to that. They didn't work more then doing a visual inspection and thats exactly what the other plumbers whom I called did as far as an estimate is concerned. As I said previously, if Palmasano plumbing wants to report to the credit bureaus, please go ahead! I will meet them in Consumer Affairs court. I have been politely dealing with this and it is not only harassment but wasting of my time as well for which I should be charging/suing them too!I will also be launching a formal complaint with [redacted]

I am writing in response to your notice dated September 7, 2016 regarding a complaint about my business.1. When a customer calls and asks for a free estimate I explain to the customer they should send me pictures and I will give them an over-the-phone quote. This works for boiler replacement...
water heaters and things that are visible in pictures. I explained to this customer as I do with every customer when there is a leak in the ceiling This situation is a minimum $150 per hour service charge because I cannot see behind a wall or up into a ceiling without using tools. When a tool is taken out of the vehicle it is considered to be work that is why there is a $150 service charge.2. We arrived at the home walked up to the shower went back down to the van got the tools we needed, remove the shower trim and shower handle inspected behind the wall through the opening no water was present. Customer was informed that the first step will be to caulk the Grout line between the tile and the tub and the half inch gap between the wall and the tub spout this was most likely the area the water was infiltrating behind the wall. As I proceed to my vehicle to get what I needed to caulk the spaces where the water was the customer said don't do it he would do it himself. The customer States in his complaint he already knew what the problem was and wanted a quote to fix it. when we arrived and we're ready to fix it he knew there was a $150 service charge he just wanted confirmation so he can do it himself and not have to pay for plumbing services. I am a five star rated [redacted] contractor and a triple A rated [redacted] contractor that has won their super service awards in the Years 2015 and 2016 my reputation is impeccable.3. When I tried to contact the customer to come up with a solution all he did was scream at me so I hung up the phone after I could not get a word in edgewise. He was then contacted by my office manager 30 days after the invoice was generated to collect payment the customer then proceeded to scream at my office manager. This customer's bill was sent to my accounting firm to collect payment this is why there is a $100 off the charge per month until the invoice is paid because it cost me money to have a secondary party collect money from this customer.4. As far as racist remarks my online record from [redacted] and any other website you can find us on testifies to our principles and our outstanding character.5. This is a case of a customer that wants services for free, refuses to pay and makes outstanding accusations in hopes the company will allow him to not have to pay for services rendered.6. Customer filed complaint with New Jersey master plumbers Association in which case I have not received any documentation of the complaint on file. Anyone that would like to contact New Jersey plumbers Association can see my company has zero complaints on file.7. This customer will continue to get an invoice every month with a $100 office surcharge added to his invoice with 1.5% interest added until payment is made.If he chooses to pay the original amount I will need to receive it by September 30, 2016 in order to close this invoice with no further surcharges.I will also mail in a copy of this email. Please confirm receipt of this email. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any other questions. Very truly yours,David M. PalmasanoOwner
