I am rejecting this response because: Sorry but he is now making up his own story from our short conversationI had the flywheel and clutch checked and it is stated on the receipt that the flywheel was improperly installedI have had no engine problems with my car before this and had fixed any that were there prior to visiting transmattic transmission And the loose part I had to tighten that he is referring to was a tension gasket around the cold air intakeIf it was something done by the earlier work I had done it would have shown immediatleyThey need to fess up to their mistakeI am willing to pay him the Price of parts at cost for him not his upscaled retail price but I do want a refund for the work that they did not do as I had to have another business fix my car and install the parts properly that they improperly installedI had to pay extra for the diagnostics to make sure that was the problem I had every system and component of my car looked at by the mechanics and the only problem they came across was an improperly installed flywheel done by transmattic transmissionI am not making a blame game anymore this is the truth it states on the receipt what will happen because of an improperly installed flywheel however your Nissan expert is lyingyou are lying to methis is the truth you damaged my car I will not pay you for services you didn't even doAnither company had to do the service after you failed to do it properlyThat's the facts, quit denying, thank you have a nice day Regards, [redacted]
It is very unfortunate that Mr [redacted] feels the way that he does As we stated in our previous response to his complaint, we pride ourselves on the care and customer service we give to our clients When we spoke with Mr [redacted] after his initial complaint, he informed us that he had a bad experience when he had work done on his Nissan Xterra, months previously According to Mr [redacted] , the work that he had done to his car months before he brought the car to us, was so far below standards that when he received the car back it had loose pieces laying around that he had to install himself In fact, our mechanics spent hours looking for missing bolts and missing pieces of Mr [redacted] 's car Furthermore, the car had numerous bolts that were completely broken off by the person or business that fixed his car before it was brought to us Our mechanic, that installed the dual mass flywheel, is an excellent mechanic, he used indexing marks on the original and replacement flywheel to ensure its proper installation If the flywheel would have been "degrees off", Mr [redacted] 's car probably would not have driven at allMoreover, the pick up for the crank sensor is not on the dual mass flywheel, so it has absolutely no effect on the timing The only problem our mechanic noted during the test drive after repairs were made by our shop, was a misfire from the engine This misfire immediately went away once the spark plug was changed, and while Mr [redacted] did pay for the spark plug, we installed it for free In order to be completely sure, we spoke to an outside source to confirm our stance This outside source, who is an expert on Nissan cars, stated that the claims in Mr [redacted] 's complaint are not possible It is not possible to install this part degrees off, nor is that terminology used for this type of work We are unsure of what has occurred with Mr [redacted] 's car since it left our establishment When Mr [redacted] picked up his Xterra, he drove off in it It was not towedHe never called us or informed us that he was experiencing any problems with his car after he picked it up Since his car has a one year or 12,mile warranty, any malfunction with our work on his car is completely covered, so it could be assumed that if he was experiencing trouble he would have contacted us and used his warrantyWe would have gladly fixed any problem that Mr [redacted] was experiencing due to our work It is our belief that the problem that Mr [redacted] has experienced with his Nissan Xterra is a result of the previous engine work that he had prior to bringing the car to us And if the business who informed him that it is our fault, is the same that he had problems with months ago, he should question those findingsWe feel that we have given Mr [redacted] exceptional customer service, our business manager even offered to baby sit his children for free so he could go to work Any problem that Mr [redacted] told us about we immediately dealt with and would have continued to do so if he would have contacted us
The service was great I had my ford ranger towed in on monday and it was done on thursday with no hassle, my transmission was in bad shape it had 221,miles on itThose guys didn't do any work unless we talked about it and to me fair and honest business makes all the difference I would go back when necessary, get a transmission rebuilt is not a habit I want to develop

withdraw his complaint to the Revdex.com. According to him, he made this complaint in the heat of moment while he was really upset. After speaking with us, Mr. [redacted] realized that the issue with his car was due to the previous engine work that he had done at a different location. As a transmission shop, we only worked on his transmission, but we felt that there was something that we could do to help Mr. [redacted] out. Sorry but he is now making up his own story from our short conversation. I had the flywheel and clutch checked and it is stated on the receipt that the flywheel was improperly installed. I have had no engine problems with my car before this and had fixed any that were there prior to visiting transmattic transmission And the loose part I had to tighten that he is referring to was a tension gasket around the cold air intake. If it was something done by the earlier work I had done it would have shown immediatley. They need to fess up to their mistake. I am willing to pay him the Price of parts at cost for him not his upscaled retail price but I do want a refund for the work that they did not do as I had to have another business fix my car and install the parts properly that they improperly installed. I had to pay extra for the diagnostics to make sure that was the problem. I had every system and component of my car looked at by the mechanics and the only problem they came across was an improperly installed flywheel done by transmattic transmission. I am not making a blame game anymore this is the truth it states on the receipt what will happen because of an improperly installed flywheel however your Nissan expert is lying. you are lying to me. this is the truth you damaged my car I will not pay you for services you didn't even do. Anither company had to do the service after you failed to do it properly. That's the facts, quit denying, thank you have a nice day

I am rejecting this response because: in no way did they repair my vehicle. Joe at transmattic transmission made me to believe that the issue was because of work I had done six months before this work so because of his advice I had my car towed to High Point Nissan where the work was done. $895 later they have diagnosed every single component of my vehicle and found no errors other than the fact that The dual mass flywheel installed by the transmission service station was off by 180°. Because of this the cams and timing were unable to synchronize with each other. I have missed out from work for an entire week losing approximately $350 in earnings. They did charge me the parts of which they claimed were the problem which was just one spark plug I paid him $16 for it. I am asked ng for a full refund of the services received and all I feel I need to pay is the price he paid for parts. I will not pay his $200 mark up for each part. Being that Joe is the one that blamed Nissan for the issue with my car I feel it is only right that he also pays for the bill as it was not needed if he had just spent the time to make sure they had installed the flywheel properly. I told Joe if I found out that my car was having issues unrelated to the services I received from the transmission station that I would resolve the issue but that is not the case I was heated in the moment because I knew they had done something wrong to my car and he continuously told me I was wrong and fed me lies trying to get me to leave. In no way am I satisfied with the customer service in no way am I satisfied with the service done to my vehicle. Thus is a huge money loss for me and I would like full reimbursement. If my car was properly fixed by transmattic transmission I would have never had to send my car to Hogh point Nissan who has repaired my vehicle and made sure nothing is wrong with my vehicle now.

It is very unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] feels the way that he does. As we stated in our previous response to his complaint, we pride ourselves on the care and customer service we give to our clients.
When we spoke with Mr. [redacted] after his initial complaint, he informed us that he had a bad experience when he had work done on his 2006 Nissan Xterra, 6 months previously. According to Mr. [redacted], the work that he had done to his car 6 months before he brought the car to us, was so far below standards that when he received the car back it had loose pieces laying around that he had to install himself. In fact, our mechanics spent hours looking for missing bolts and missing pieces of Mr. [redacted]'s car. Furthermore, the car had numerous bolts that were completely broken off by the person or business that fixed his car before it was brought to us. Our mechanic, that installed the dual mass flywheel, is an excellent mechanic, he used indexing marks on the original and replacement flywheel to ensure its proper installation. If the flywheel would have been "180 degrees off", Mr. [redacted]'s car probably would not have driven at all. Moreover, the pick up for the crank sensor is not on the dual mass flywheel, so it has absolutely no effect on the timing. The only problem our mechanic noted during the test drive after repairs were made by our shop, was a misfire from the engine. This misfire immediately went away once the spark plug was changed, and while Mr. [redacted] did pay for the spark plug, we installed it for free.
In order to be completely sure, we spoke to an outside source to confirm our stance. This outside source, who is an expert on Nissan cars, stated that the claims in Mr. [redacted]'s complaint are not possible. It is not possible to install this part 180 degrees off, nor is that terminology used for this type of work. We are unsure of what has occurred with Mr. [redacted]'s car since it left our establishment. When Mr. [redacted] picked up his Xterra, he drove off in it. It was not towed. He never called us or informed us that he was experiencing any problems with his car after he picked it up. Since his car has a one year or 12,000 mile warranty, any malfunction with our work on his car is completely covered, so it could be assumed that if he was experiencing trouble he would have contacted us and used his warranty. We would have gladly fixed any problem that Mr. [redacted] was experiencing due to our work.
It is our belief that the problem that Mr. [redacted] has experienced with his Nissan Xterra is a result of the previous engine work that he had prior to bringing the car to us. And if the business who informed him that it is our fault, is the same that he had problems with 6 months ago, he should question those findings.
We feel that we have given Mr. [redacted] exceptional customer service, our business manager even offered to baby sit his children for free so he could go to work. Any problem that Mr. [redacted] told us about we immediately dealt with and would have continued to do so if he would have contacted us.
