I am emailing a response in regards to the concerns/complaint that *** *** reported to your firmWe have completed every work order that the resident has reportedThe most recent work order we received for Ms*** was for a broken window as well as bathtub plumingThe window
has been ordered and it will be installed later this weekMs*** broke the window while trying to get a bird out of her unitAs far as interrupting the water service, we had a main water pipe burst in the apartment right next to Ms***’sAs a result of this emergency, none of the residents were notified in advance However our maintenance employees knocked on all doors, to inform the residents that were home of the situation At that time we didn’t have a working number for Ms*** nor a working apartment keyIt wasn’t until recently that were able to obtain a working number, and we will get an apartment key as soon as Ms*** can provide us with a key, or we can make a copy in our officeOur files have been updated with the correct number since thenAs far as having a door bell, we do not provide these for the residents unless they requested themWe will gladly install them per their requestMs*** has not asked for a doorbell to be installedIn regards to the maintenance tech not correcting new issues while there on a work order, it is Clark’s policy that they are only to perform the work that is listed on the current work order; and to make note if resident has any other issues so that another work order and or parts can be ordered to make the repairs. The maintenance men are on a tight schedule and are given specific instructions on a daily basis. All work orders should come through the office before assigned.
