Pajarito Photography Reviews (5)

We met with [redacted] and [redacted] Saturday, September 17, to discuss the booking of their wedding for March 31, in which they discussed of need photography and videography services for hours [redacted] noted that she would also like to have a slideshow that included photos of her fiance's bachelor party, with an agreed upon price of $But [redacted] failed to contact us with ample time to put together the slideshow that she wished for until last minute, thus deciding it was too close to the wedding and she did not want to do it after all but did not ask to remove the service We ask all our clients for a minimum of 50% to secure their dateWhen that was not possible for [redacted] and ***, we agreed that we would do our best to accommodate their financial needs [redacted] and ***'s security deposit of $broken down into two payments was received on September 30, and again on October 10, [redacted] finally decided to contact us for the removal of the slideshow after March 31, 2017, when the security deposit was already paid off as well as the remaining balance of $Thus, making the security deposit and final payment non-refundable as stated in our contract they signedNon-refundable security deposits are put in place to secure their date and the final payment is given for the time spent working on or off-site, in ***ers relating to their wedding We did not agree upon nor discuss giving [redacted] and [redacted] a DVD or a CD and is not stated in the contractAlthough, advising them during our meeting that the photos would be provided via Dropbox where all of her special memories can be easily accessed and downloaded directly to whatever device she preferredAn email sent to us on May 2, discussed her concerns stating, "The Dropbox option was not the option we expected but that's ok." [redacted] emailed us on May 7, 2017; days after she received her photos and video asking how she could burn videos on a DVD because she could not understand how to navigate the app through her phoneThough the photos and video are accessible and viewable through an app, it is always advised that downloads of any videos should be best done through a desktop so she may complete her burn in which she can insert a CD/DVD intoThat action cannot be completed through a cellular deviceWe instructed [redacted] how to make this available to her and became very defensive and threatening via text messages stating that she wanted to "leave any kinds of comments on Facebook or Yelp", "I can definitely handle your poor business actions a different way", "keep in mind you will be seeing us at my cousin's wedding" and threatening to sabotage our contract with other clientsWhen this occurred, we decided to do a service that was not contracted to do for her because she could not do it herselfWe gave [redacted] an estimated timeframe of when her DVD would be available but due to the high volume of previous client workflow and the birth of our one month old daughter who had been admitted to NICU early this year, her DVD was put to the side to allow clients ahead of her to be completed first as well as tending to the medical needs our our newborn [redacted] was made aware of this and we thanked her for her patience and understandingWe do not wish to keep her DVD away from her, all that was asked was to allow extended time since she was already given her photos and video regardless of how or where in the allotted timeframe of 15-business days, as stated in contractIn response to "photographers were late and used paid time to tend to personal ***er": We contacted [redacted] and [redacted] prior to start time, letting them know we had a flat tire and needed to put in the spare [redacted] assured us that it was okay; understanding the circumstances beyond one's controlTaking note that we arrived late due to this casualty, we did not leave the site until a little after 9:45PM to restore the time we had lost at the beginning of the dayIn addition, in a previous email she stated, "Unfortunately the video guest sign in did not work out we pretty much lost out thereand we decided to take out the slideshow leaving us with the additional $to apply somewhere - the contract was not altered to show this change or confirm what we would receive in exchange for removing that servicePlease advise on what you were doing or did to honor thatI recognize that on the contract it said photos and in Dropbox there was but again there was no information as to why." This statement leads me to believe that she recognized the additional additional photos that were given to her as a means of honoring the $as well as the extended time we left the site on March 31, - which was advised in the returned email to [redacted] These additional photos took well over an hour to sort, edit, and export; a service that is over $200, which [redacted] was still neither content or thankful forWhen our services were rendered and completed the night of March 31, 2017, [redacted] made a payment of $cash, a $overpayment and asked for changeOur photographers are not to carry change or extra cash on them for security reasons [redacted] was made aware of this and instructed us to keep the change as a "tip" because of how "wonderful" we were and how excited he was to see everythingAs we have other clients awaiting their own material, we are due to complete those ahead of her within one monthProceeding completion, she will receive her DVD [redacted] and ***'s final pending invoice will be emailed later this eveningWe do not agree to alter the invoice except for what service was given to honor the incomplete slideshowPlease advise if any email or text messages are needed for further proof.Thank you

I am rejecting this response In response to [redacted] Photography – if you see the attached record of textsThere was no threatsI stated to “Keep in mind you will be seeing us at my cousins wedding” so that they were aware there was an opportunity to give us the DVDIt is not my fault that [redacted] received our text messages negatively rather than a means of rectifying our concerns as a paying customerSame goes for the statements I made stating “I’ve stayed away from leaving comments on Facebook or Yelp – which I have every right to but didn’t because we wanted to give [redacted] the opportunity to accommodate our concerns and complainants regarding their photographyAs you can see according to the texts I was not threateningYou can see [redacted] ’s responses to my request for an update and again expressing our concerns as a paying customer was hostileShe acted as if she did us a favor providing picturesMy husband and I were extremely understanding and patient with both [redacted] and [redacted] - when they texted us that they were going to be late and again when [redacted] had to pump during our wedding- What other option do we have the day of our weddingWe paid for photographers trusting that they could handle our special dayAnd in regards to the cash payment what were we expected to do make them go and get us change- so yes at that moment after our wedding day we were generous enough to say keep the changeThat moment of thankfulness changed once we received our less than expected photosThe fact that we as consumers trusted [redacted] Photography with a day that we will never get back [redacted] ’s statement regarding that I was neither content nor thankful again is not a factor when it is business and we paid for services that were not satisfactory and all services originally agreed upon were not fully renderedWe also notified them prior to the wedding day that we were not going to do the slideshow of our journey (not ***’s bachelor party)It was never discussed that [redacted] would provide more than images nor did they provide an explanation when they provided more –that is on them not usAlso it was never told to us that their newborn was in the NICURegardless of life’s happenings we paid for servicmade a request and voiced our concernsAccording to the texts we were due to receive the DVD a week from May – as of today nothing has been received including final invoiceWe are aware that the “DVD” was not listed on the contract but there’s a few things that were not defined or fulfilled on that contractThe DVD was requested because we thought [redacted] could make some wrongs right –We are extremely disappointed in the business ethics of [redacted] Photography and how they treat customersNot only did they provide low quality photos-they kept $of our money knowing they did not provide the service and treated us poorly when we requested further information Also attached for review is contract-and misc.emails

To minimize further argumentative responses I will add new and corrected information in regards to the request of consumer: Providing a CD/DVD in a timely mannerThis request was completed the week of June 1st via USPS to *** and *** Mendoza at *** *** *** in Fontana, CA 92337. We did not do them a favor as providing for *** and ***'s photos - we simply did our jobWith photos at 355, a day was not forgotten and nothing was documented as "lost"Our company did not discuss the reasoning of an additional photos because we did not purposely plan to get a flat tire on the day of the consumer's weddingAgain, a casualty that was beyond our controlImagery is never sent to our clients in anything lower than x pixels at ppi - a printing qualityPlease see attached link to the consumer's photos and video to view quality assurance: www.dropbox.com/sh/n4nwl6mxi9nl7ba/AADC3jCeHDWq3DqZBliJWiTfa?dl=This video can also be viewed online through YouTube at www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bn6Wul5DW8.In response to pumping during work hours, since 2010, the federal "Break Time For Nursing Mothers" requires hourly paid employees to receive a break time and a private place to pump breast milk during the work dayThe rights can be found on National Conference of State Legislatures website as well as Wage and Hour Division and California Department of Public HealthLabor Code Section 1030, 1031, 1032, states "This law requires all California employers to provide a reasonable amount of break time and make a reasonable effort to provide a private space other than a toilet stall, close to the employee's work area, to accommodate an employee desiring to express breast milk for her baby." We would like to add that our professional cinematographer is also a trained professional photographer who did the job of *** and his, while she was pumping breast milk for her childA total of minutes - the same amount her child nurses. We understand that not everyone can be fully satisfied and no one is perfect but nonetheless, services have been fully completed as of June 1, We will continue to do our very best to resolve our client's ***ers in the futureWe apologize for any inconvenience, we will no longer continue to relay responses at this time. Thank you

We met with [redacted] and [redacted] Saturday, September 17, 2016 to discuss the booking of their wedding for March 31, 2017 in which they discussed of need photography and videography services for 6 hours. [redacted] noted that she would also like to have a slideshow that included photos of her...

fiance's bachelor party, with an agreed upon price of $100. But [redacted] failed to contact us with ample time to put together the slideshow that she wished for until last minute, thus deciding it was too close to the wedding and she did not want to do it after all but did not ask to remove the service.    We ask all our clients for a minimum of 50% to secure their date. When that was not possible for [redacted] and [redacted], we agreed that we would do our best to accommodate their financial needs. [redacted] and [redacted]'s security deposit of $387.50 broken down into two payments was received on September 30, 2016 and again on October 10, 2016. [redacted] finally decided to contact us for the removal of the slideshow after March 31, 2017, when the security deposit was already paid off as well as the remaining balance of $387.50. Thus, making the security deposit and final payment non-refundable as stated in our contract they signed. Non-refundable security deposits are put in place to secure their date and the final payment is given for the time spent working on or off-site, in [redacted]ers relating to their wedding.    We did not agree upon nor discuss giving [redacted] and [redacted] a DVD or a CD and is not stated in the contract. Although, advising them during our meeting that the photos would be provided via Dropbox where all of her special memories can be easily accessed and downloaded directly to whatever device she preferred. An email sent to us on May 2, 2017 discussed her concerns stating, "The Dropbox option was not the option we expected but that's ok." [redacted] emailed us on May 7, 2017; 2 days after she received her photos and video asking how she could burn videos on a DVD because she could not understand how to navigate the app through her phone. Though the photos and video are accessible and viewable through an app, it is always advised that downloads of any videos should be best done through a desktop so she may complete her burn in which she can insert a CD/DVD into. That action cannot be completed through a cellular device. We instructed [redacted] how to make this available to her and became very defensive and threatening via text messages stating that she wanted to "leave any kinds of comments on Facebook or Yelp", "I can definitely handle your poor business actions a different way", "keep in mind you will be seeing us at my cousin's wedding" and threatening to sabotage our contract with other clients. When this occurred, we decided to do a service that was not contracted to do for her because she could not do it herself. We gave [redacted] an estimated timeframe of when her DVD would be available but due to the high volume of previous client workflow and the birth of our one month old daughter who had been admitted to NICU early this year, her DVD was put to the side to allow clients ahead of her to be completed first as well as tending to the medical needs our our newborn. [redacted] was made aware of this and we thanked her for her patience and understanding. We do not wish to keep her DVD away from her, all that was asked was to allow extended time since she was already given her photos and video regardless of how or where in the allotted timeframe of 15-30 business days, as stated in contract. In response to "photographers were late and used paid time to tend to personal [redacted]er": We contacted [redacted] and [redacted] prior to start time, letting them know we had a flat tire and needed to put in the spare. [redacted] assured us that it was okay; understanding the circumstances beyond one's control. Taking note that we arrived late due to this casualty, we did not leave the site until a little after 9:45PM to restore the time we had lost at the beginning of the day. In addition, in a previous email she stated, "Unfortunately the video guest sign in did not work out we pretty much lost out there... and we decided to take out the slideshow leaving us with the additional $100 to apply somewhere - the contract was not altered to show this change or confirm what we would receive in exchange for removing that service. Please advise on what you were doing or did to honor that. I recognize that on the contract it said 250 photos and in Dropbox there was 355 but again there was no information as to why." This statement leads me to believe that she recognized the additional 155 additional photos that were given to her as a means of honoring the $100 as well as the extended time we left the site on March 31, 2017 - which was advised in the returned email to [redacted]. These additional photos took well over an hour to sort, edit, and export; a service that is over $200, which [redacted] was still neither content or thankful for. When our services were rendered and completed the night of March 31, 2017, [redacted] made a payment of $400 cash, a $12.50 overpayment and asked for change. Our photographers are not to carry change or extra cash on them for security reasons. [redacted] was made aware of this and instructed us to keep the change as a "tip" because of how "wonderful" we were and how excited he was to see everything. As we have other clients awaiting their own material, we are due to complete those ahead of her within one month. Proceeding completion, she will receive her DVD. [redacted] and [redacted]'s final pending invoice will be emailed later this evening. We do not agree to alter the invoice except for what service was given to honor the incomplete slideshow. Please advise if any email or text messages are needed for further proof.Thank you.

I am rejecting this response.

In response to [redacted] Photography – if you see the attached record of texts. There was no threats. I stated to “Keep in mind you will be seeing us at my cousins wedding” so that they were aware there was an opportunity to give us the DVD. It is not my fault that [redacted] received our text messages negatively rather than a means of rectifying our concerns as a paying customer. Same goes for the statements I made stating “I’ve stayed away from leaving comments on Facebook or Yelp – which I have every right to but didn’t because we wanted to give [redacted] the opportunity to accommodate our concerns and complainants regarding their photography. As you can see according to the texts I was not threatening. You can see [redacted]’s responses to my request for an update and again expressing our concerns as a paying customer was hostile. She acted as if she did us a favor providing pictures. My husband and I were extremely understanding and patient with both [redacted] and [redacted]- when they texted us that they were going to be late and again when [redacted] had to pump during our wedding- What other option do we have the day of our wedding. We paid for photographers trusting that they could handle our special day. And in regards to the cash payment what were we expected to do make them go and get us change- so yes at that moment after our wedding day we were generous enough to say keep the change. That moment of thankfulness changed once we received our less than expected photos. The fact is-is that we as consumers trusted [redacted] Photography with a day that we will never get back. [redacted]’s statement regarding that I was neither content nor thankful again is not a factor when it is business and we paid for services that were not satisfactory and all services originally agreed upon were not fully rendered. We also notified them prior to the wedding day that we were not going to do the slideshow of our journey (not [redacted]’s bachelor party). It was never discussed that [redacted] would provide more than 250 images nor did they provide an explanation when they provided more –that is on them not us. Also it was never told to us that their newborn was in the NICU. Regardless of life’s happenings we paid for services-we made a request and voiced our concerns. According to the texts we were due to receive the DVD a week from May 22 – as of today nothing has been received including final invoice. We are aware that the “DVD” was not listed on the contract but there’s a few things that were not defined or fulfilled on that contract. The DVD was requested because we thought [redacted] could make some wrongs right –We are extremely disappointed in the business ethics of [redacted] Photography and how they treat customers. Not only did they provide low quality photos-they kept $100 of our money knowing they did not provide the service and treated us poorly when we requested further information.
Also attached for review is contract-and misc.emails.
