I am [redacted], DOB 09-16-1944, married to [redacted]. I asked my husband to write the first complaint because he's usually better at it than I am. But I am the patient of [redacted] Dental who was overcharged. It seems black and white: my insurance---and I am listed as [redacted]'s dependent with...
Delta Dental--which has stated that this procedure should have cost $698.00, my part $399.00, and Delta pays $299.00 Delta DID in fact pay them 06-17-15. Additionally they added a "same day" charge of $200.00+. I was never told of this charge until I asked for a refund of the overcharge. I am 70 years old, and I think they are deliberately taking advantage because they think I'm too old to notice. It is SO unfair, it is fraud. And a violation of their contract with Delta.

Review: [redacted] Dental performed services for [redacted] on 06-08-15. [redacted] has dental insurance with Delta, and [redacted] Dental is a contracted provider with Delta. [redacted] was charged $916.00 for a procedure that Delta allows the dentist to charge only $698.00. This is an overcharge of $517.00. Repeated requests for a correct refund have been rebuffed. Please let this practice know that this is BAD business.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $517.00 overcharge.
