Went to Pacific on [redacted] to look for a new truckSalesman showed me a GMC Had been driven by staff and had 1,plus K's on it and was covered in dirty and mudThe salesman told me it had Navigation and leather trim on seatsThey looked at my trade in and said they would get back to melater I get a phone call from [redacted] He told me $ [redacted] and my truck would do the dealI laughed and offered $ [redacted] Well after [redacted] phone calls we agreed on the $ [redacted] and I explained that it was subject to my inspect of the truck again as it was covered in mud and I wanted it washedHe told me they would buff the truck out and detail it on Monday He then wanted a credit card to hold the truck and we aged on [redacted] .I then went on line and looked at the dealer's list on the truck and could not find Navigation or leather seats listedI call the salesman at home and he said he thought it did have them and would check on Monday morning Monday morning I call the salesman he tells me the truck does not have Navigation but the seats have the leather trimHe tells me they [redacted] sell me the navigation for and extra [redacted] and the seats are leatherI told him not to detail the truck and I would contact him on TuesdaySo I researched the truck and found out the seats are VINYL trimI then went back to their web site to see if they had any other trucks I might wantDid notI then called other dealers and found a truck I liked in ParksvilleI drove down on Tuesday Morning and in hours and NO hassles bought a XXXX XXXX truckI called the salesman back at Pacific and inform him I had bought a truck and thanks for his helpMinutes later I get a call from ***, the sales manager, and he tells me, in a very angry fashion, that we had a deal and his life and reputation is ruined as he had called his wholesalers and got the best deal on my trade in and now could not produceI explained that his truck was mis represented to me and I did not want it but I was not mad about itHe went on for another [redacted] informing me they could have gotten me the same truck at a better price and the [redacted] screwed me as GMC that morning had anounced there was another [redacted] rebate on that truckI ask him why had they not called me thenHe said a deal is a deal and they would be keeping my [redacted] credit card chargeI explained I had bought new trucks and a car from [redacted] He went on for a few more minutes and hung upI then get a call from [redacted] informing me we had a "handshake deal" and I was a [redacted] to violate it and he would hold me to itHe then went on to tell me he was [redacted] off as I had bought a new Dodge last year and screwed him out os a sales at his [redacted] deanship and they could have gotten me the same truck for lessHe then told me PACIFIC CHEVROLET is my closest dealership and have to use them for warranty and if my new truck needed to be towed I will have to have it taken to [redacted] in [redacted] as they would not work on itNot to be the end as he then sent me more than [redacted] More insults and threats and now I was banned from both of his dealerships, [redacted] ISLE FORD and PACIFIC CHEVROLETAs I have a new ford EDGE I had bought from him for my wife I now have nowhere to take it for serviceI WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE READING THIS TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUYING A CAR
