I would have to say that paying over $for new carpet and floors for a main floor I should have been raving about them! I had to pay a handy man a extra $to do the finishing over again and now a year later :( So very disappointed! My floors move and have to be banged back into place constantly...the finishing on my stairs(we did our back landing down to the bsmt) is terrible and after laying subfloor 1st to help with squeaks ...they are all back as they used nails not screws like we specificaly asked for! Now then we come to the 'very' expensive carpet that I was forced to do a upgrade on if I wanted to stay with the colors....it has major wear marks in areas already Buyer beware and do your homework!! I had laminate flooring installed throughout my entire upper level by King's Flooring Solutions on Dec7-
I thought the entire process was very good- from the friendly and courteous consultation and sale of the product with Rick to the installation by PatrickEverything happened as prominsed and there were no problems. The installer did a very nice jobI would say the quality of his work is very high and for me better than the installers who did my hardwood staircase.Patrick also did my baseboard finishing as a separate job which I thought was a bit expensive but after seeing the quality of his work and his attention to detail it was worth the price
Thanks Rick and Patrick I love my floors!!!!!
King's Flooring installed a hardwood floor in my condo and did a horrible jobThe floor was not flattened properly so now there are soft spots and the installation was not done properly so there are gaps between the boardsCompletely botched the whole installationThey didn't even complete the installation i.espacers for transtion areas were not installedDespite months of complaints and follow up, King's refused to do anything to resolve the issue
I went all the way to the *** *** *** association who agreed on inspection that the installation was not done properly but would not requires King's to fix the problemsIt was a total waste of time
The upshot: Horrible and expensive experienceWould not recommend King's to anyone for anything
Very difficult business to deal with as far as installation of products We had issues surrounding the installation of our tile floor - it was poorly done with bows in the middle of the tiles, some of which were so bad they were a tripping hazard At first, they were not going to replace the floor; indicating it was within industry standard We later found out from them directly that the type of install for the tile we had selected was NOT within industry standard The installer who offered this type of installation was apparently not aware of this as he didn't mention there could be issues King's then agreed to replace the floor and the 2nd install was much better but, we then had issues with the grout and hazing which took weeks to resolve Because of their mistakes, our job was put weeks behind schedule which resulted in additional expenses due to this delay King's refused to reduce our bill to offset these extra costs "because they already lost money" on our job Perhaps if they had competent installers and/or policies in place for when there are issues with tiles, this whole situation could have been avoided I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone else
This is my first ever review online. I engaged Kings flooring to provide me the hardwood and carpet flooring in our multi million dollar house in Lynx Ridge. Dealt directly with Jacob one of the sales consultant. He sold me cheap quality hardwood for my house and the quantities he measured and ordered were 20% higher then the actual quantities needed. I didnt know until we took the measurement by ourself that there is a 20% wastage allowance. Once this ripped off is identified kings flooring took the extra material and gave me the credit. Once the hardwood is installed we found out that defective hardwood have been installed. Owner of kings flooring JJ came to my house and reviewed and acknowledged the hardwood is dfective. They played around with me for months and finally sent the installer who did nothing except he used the touch ups on the hardwood board. Kings flooring stands for nothing and the owner JJ as well as the sales guy are crooked people and will not hesitate to rip you off. I am going to file a complain as well for these guys. If anyone needs to talk to me please call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX so I can share with you my personal experience with kings flooring.
