Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted] ***However, in response to the letter from the business: The only reason they were in "constant contact" with me is because I called every week to try to get the money back that was wrongly collectedAs to not knowing there was copay assistance, that is completely false, the office is who directed us to copay assistance and helped us get signed up for it, also, copay assistance had paid every visit previous to and after this one particular visit where the money was wrongly collected
We are the Business responding to a consumer complaint id: ***. The Patient’s daughter requested a refund for a copayment that was collected from the Patient in AprilWe were unaware that the Patient was on a copay assistance programWhen the daughter made us aware of the copay
assistance program, we waited for the health insurance to pay so we could forward that proof to the copay assistance program (procedure)We were in constant communication with the daughter during the processIt takes time for health insurance to pay, wait for the EOB, bill the copay assistance and follow up on status of paymentsCopay assistance misinformed us a few times, which did not help the processOnce the money was received in September from the copay assistance program, we requested a copy of the will or documentation stating the daughter was the executive of the estateWe never received it, but in good faith released the money to the Patient’s daughter on 10/16/since she was listed as her daughter and emergency contact in our files Thank you *** ***Administrative AssistantPacific Cancer Medical Center, Inc.*** *** *** *** *** *** ***
