I received two parking tickets in the span of two weeks in Fullerton for overnight parking in front of my own house. I submitted a check with the first ticket by mail to this company, Pticket, and a friend was generous enough to pay the second ticket over the website, pticket.com/fullerton for me as a random act of kindness.

Forward to a month later I am getting a late payment notice for the second ticket. I called and was told I needed to submit a bank statement and the email confirmation for proof of purchase. I asked to speak with a supervisor as this seemed a very large violation of my personal privacy. A supervisor was not available that day, so I called back the next morning and spoke with [redacted] first who transferred me to a manager, [redacted], who explained that my second ticket did not actually process for two weeks into the system, and the two payments I made were accredited to the earlier citation, and so one was voided and I was notified. I told her I was not notified, and I don't see why I should be on the hook for "late payment" if they take three weeks to process a ticket into the system anyway. I attempted to pay both, and they refused one payment so I believe my second citation should be paid by them for their incompetence in processing tickets. [redacted] was not helpful and merely said to mail my proof of payment to the P O Box on the citation but could not give me the full address.

I find this company to be very sketchy and unhelpful and their incompetence will cause more people to believe they have paid minor citations only to find out they are considered late and owe more money than they may be able to afford.

Review: I have been written a ticket for surfing in a specific area by lifegaurds and city sheriff workers, that I feel did not properly post any rules or explain the details of the rules of this specific beach and areas where surfing is allowed.I feel they are trying to lure people to pay bogus fines.Additionally, they have been very hard to contact and to get any resolution to this matter.I am wanting to find out to whom I can make additional complaints regarding this issues, so that no other public beach goers have to go through these horrible situations with these bad practices the city employees have involved in this situation.Desired Settlement: I would like to contest this citation or have the charges removed and expunge the citation fee of $100.Additionally, I think the supervisors need to change their rules and have proper signage and flags showing the areas during certain hours where to swim or surf, so there is no question as to the specific areas or times for any public using these beaches.The way it is currently set up, there is too much grey area and no exact rules.

Review: The company PTicket are not allowed customers to pay parking violation tickets to pay online. The bank credit card was valid but the system response " The transaction has been declined. An error occurred during processing. Call Merchant Service Provider." Customer service was declined to investigating the issue with technical support.Desired Settlement: All request from customers should be investigated without any drop calls from PTicket customer service.

Review: On Wednesday, December 11th 2013 around 11:30 PM I went to school to attend a meeting with my professor at 12:00 PM. I went to parking E6 on the northern side of school to park. There are two ticket dispenser machine at E6 to buy a daily ticket for $6 a day (No hourly rate available which is not right for a person who just need to be at school for couple hours).

I used my card to get a ticket and put it on my car screen shield. The machine continues rejecting my card saying "Authorization is offline". I used different cards and same result (I have pictures of the machine proving that they were not working). I called the CSUN parking and transportation department and told them that the machines are not working. They told me that you can go to other parking lots and buy your ticket. Although, I was going to be late for my meeting, I went to other parking lots to buy parking ticket, but same problem at other parking lots. Imagine you spend more that 15 minutes driving around to get a parking ticket, no direct and helpful respond from CSUN parking department, and getting late for an important meeting with your professor just because a service company does not take the responsibility to provide the right service. I have had this problem before and even after a year some of their machines are not working.

I went back to the parking lot and left a note on my screen saying that " the parking dispenser is out order and I am going to get cash to buy my ticket with cash".

I went and got my ticket and put it on the screen. Due to this problem I was late and consequently the meeting got canceled.

Apparently during the time that I went to get cash for my parking ticket, the parking officer issued a parking violation ticket that I never received. Couple weeks ago I received a notification for my registration update and two parking citation were added to my registration.

I went to CSUN parking department to resolve the issue. But they denied to cooperated.Desired Settlement: I have proof for my claims and some of the machines are still not working at CSUN parking lots. CSUN parking and transportation department which runs under a privet company, P ticket, should be responsible for their services. They have dispenser machines with credit card reader which are not functioning and expecting students or visitor to all have cash. On the other hand while their machines are not working they dare to issue a parking violation ticket for people. I never received the tickets, or the letters they claiming that had been sent, while at the first place they should not be allowed to issue a citation when their machines are not working, and then claim that they send a notification. Now my tickets are doubled from $48 to $95. I requested them to cancel the one that I have proof for it and reduce the other one to normal $48. They refused to do so and after a year their machines are still not working properly while they still issue tickets for students. This is unacceptable.
