This customer was giving two options to do this transmission work, when she
came in she electected to do the year warranty service work, the estimate for year warranty was out the door for this one year warranty work on the transmissionThe price on the three year warranty was plus oil and tax, right around 3200,After getting complaint from Revdex.com I tried to make contact with her and she did not want to talk to me so that I can work together and come to an agreement and try to settle this here locally, she did not want to talk to me and gave me her husband’s phone and asked me to call him insteadI tried to explain to him that if he was not happy with the transmission work to bring the car back, and let me take the transmission back and I would put her old transmission back on and give them a full refund on the job, I also offered to find another shop that would give her the year warranty and that I would give her all her money back and rent a vehicle for her while the worked on her carIn addition I even offered them to meet me halfway to extend their warranty to years if they agreed to pay more from her original statement of In other words if she paid instead of the I would give them the year warrantyI got cuzed out by the husband and claimed that he would not let rme touch their car any moreCustomer signed the work order stating that there would only be a month or thousand mile warranty on the transmission, but I am willing to work with them if they can work with meL** ***

Review: business gave me a estimate for $2200 total for a complete transmission rebuilt with removal and installation on paper with a verbal agreement of 3 year warranty on transmission and labor. did not give me a break down of costs on original estimate which I find odd.during work I recieved a call for an extra $80 to fix an oil leak on the motors rear main seal which I agreed too verbally over the phone. After work was done I received a grand total receipt for $2306.80 and with only a 1 year warranty.

I was over charged from original estimate of $2200, plus extra $80 agreed over phone.

I also did not receive the 3 year warranty orig agreed verbally during estimate.Desired Settlement: given the 3 year warranty and grand total of $2280

This customer was giving two options to do this transmission work, when she came in she electected to do the 1 year warranty service work, the estimate for 1 year warranty was 2200.00 out the door for this one year warranty work on the transmission. The price on the three year warranty was 2900.00 plus oil and tax, right around 3200,00.After getting complaint from Revdex.com I tried to make contact with her and she did not want to talk to me so that I can work together and come to an agreement and try to settle this here locally, she did not want to talk to me and gave me her husband’s phone and asked me to call him instead. In addition I even offered them to meet me halfway to extend their warranty to 3 years if they agreed to pay 426.00 more from her original statement of 2200.00. In other words if she paid 2626.00 instead of the 3200.00 I would give them the 3 year warranty. I got cuzed out by the husband and claimed that he would not let rme touch their car any more...Customer signed the work order stating that there would only be a 12 month or 12 thousand mile warranty on the transmission, but I am willing to work with them if they can work with me.L[redacted]P and L transmission

Review: The consumer stated that they brought in their vehicle because of a liake in the heater core. To change the core the business told him that they would have to remove the dashboard. When the consumer got his car got the ETF light was on and would not shut off. The business told the consumer that they would have to remove the dashboard again and would not do it.

The consumer later found out tha he has been driving in only in 2nd gear due to the ETF is not working, not allowing the car to drop into 3rd gear.

The business admitted that they did not road test the car after they replaced the heater core or they would have found that the ETF light was on.Desired Settlement: The consumer wants P & L Transmission to fix the car or pay for someone else to fix it.
