We have received the machine in question for repair from this customer.
Unfortunately, the customer failed to recognize that a $12,000 piece of equipment should be carefully packed for shipment as we received it with almost all outside parts...
destroyed or damaged from lack of proper packing. Even the roll of webbing supplied was nothing more than a ball of spegetti.
Since this webbing was not initially supplied when the equipment was ordered, the machine was not designed to handle it.
In spite of our warranty terms which require the machine be returned for repair initially, we sent a replacement motor (and other parts) for the customer to replace himself at his request. Unfortunately, it too came back damaged from either poor packing or have been disassembled by someone. These motors are extremely expensive ($1000+).
All that said, we have undertaken to completely rebuild the machine, including all parts damaged from shipping or abuse. We have also reprogrammed the controller of the machine to correct the feeding problem on this type of webbing, including a new touchscreen and wiring harness.
The machine is nearly rebuilt and will run the new webbing as supplied. At that point it will be returned to the customer, carefully packaged, under warranty.
