December 16, 2015Dear [redacted] :This ietter is in response to your letter, dated December 9, 2015, regarding complaint ID [redacted] The letter states that the patient's parents are unhappy with our billing and use the words “illegal collection of fees.”The patient's parents signed our terms and conditions agreement between themselves and our office, See Exhibit AThese terms specisioally slate that payment is the patient's legal obligation and &uoffice will file to the patient's insurance as a courtesy and implies no responsibility on our part offiling, follow through or confirmation.Qur office filed a claim to [redacted] Deulal sur services rendered on January 8, [redacted] Dental denied the patient's claim, see Exhibit B, and asked the claim be submitted to the patient's medical insurance first.As we are a dental office, we do not handle any medical health claims and informed the patient's parents that they would need to submit the claim to their heath insurance company as requested by [redacted] DentalOur office supplied them with a copy of the [redacted] Dental denial EOB, as well as a statement of services rendered and charges accrued.asking the patient's parents to respond within days or the validity of the debt will be assumed, see Exhibit CThere was no response, and our attorney filed a judgement
