case, we diligently contacted the client, asking them to pick up their perishable products. According to our records, she showed up on Sunday, June 19th in an effort to pick up the items. Unfortunately, we are closed on Sundays for customer pickups and drop-offs.We certainly understand the importance of the Nalukataq Festival and the time commitment in takes. However, 10 days is a long period to not pick up a perishable product. Our Barrow warehouse station has limited freezer space. In an effort to keep all of our clients satisfied, we do humbly ask that clients pick up their shipments in a timely fashion. We have a policy where clients will be charged $.75 per 100lbs. per day for any meat, gear, seafood not picked up within 12 hours of arrival. In this case, we did not levy this additional cost against our client.This is a regrettable situation and we hope to have the chance to provide our client with another opportunity to serve them in the future.
