N.O.B.W.

In March 2012, I contacted Northern Ohio Basement Waterproofing (NOBW) because I had a wet basement. [redacted], the president of NOBW met me at my home and said that the exterior of my basement needed to be excavated. He said that once the work was completed, the wet basement problem would be solved. He charged me and I paid him $22,000. After the work was completed and payment had been made, the water continued to come into my basement exactly as it had before NOBW had worked on my home. After several attempts to reach him, Mr. [redacted] finally agreed to meet me at my home on July 23, 2012. He brought with him an engineer named [redacted] who stated that the problem was water seeping through the mortar of the brick facade on my house. He said that the brick would need to be sealed. I reminded Mr. [redacted] that my original concern was that my basement was wet. He had told me that the basement needed to be excavated. Only after the work was done and paid for did Mr. [redacted] bring out an engineer to determine that it was the mortar that needed to be sealed. I told Mr. [redacted] that I expected him to pay for the sealing since my basement was as wet as it was before he started working. He told me that he would get back to me. Despite my repeated telephone calls, Mr. [redacted] did not get back to me until I sent him a certified letter. He then called back and said that he would do nothing to stop water from entering my basement.
