Review: I received a letter from New York Record Retrieval saying if I pay $89.50 I could receive a certified copy of my deed recorded on the above-referenced property, and as of today I never received document. The check I sent them was cashed. I am demanding that my money be refunded. I did called them numerous times at their phone number indicated on the form and it doesn't even ring. I called 411 and received a different number and that number just rings and rings.Desired Settlement: Would like to be refunded the money I paid for the copy.

Review: I rec'd a letter in June ,2013, suggesting that I need to get a deed for my property(home) where I live. They stated that I should mail a check for $69.50 to get the Deed. The letter also said that I needed to reply within a certian period of time, approx. 2 or three weeks. it was almost a must have from the county in which I live ([redacted]) city of [redacted]. the letter said that I will recieve the Deed in30 days at least. I mailed in July [redacted], 2013..#[redacted], dedcted from my checking acct. thru [redacted]. It was drawn out a week later. As of, August, I had not received the deed. in the mean time... I found out from the County seat ([redacted],NY)... they would have charged me $1.90 -$2.00 for the deed. Then, I begin calling N.Y.Record retrieval about returning my check.. it had be-e-e-en cashed a dnasking for a refund. I even got he County Sheriff involved.. They got the imfo. for me and said...quote, "yes, I agree that that is a lot higher than you pay and to try to get a hold of them.. I have been caaling them since the [redacted] of August , only to keep geeting thie voice mail of [redacted] office. She returned my call in September after 5 or 6 calls to her voice mail. She now says that I am harrassing her, because I mentioned contacting the Attorney General's office. I have not done that as of yet. I want my $69.50 refunded back to me. I am on [redacted] and do need my money. I will go to the Town of [redacted] to get a proper deed for my home. That Doc#: [redacted] on the letter.Their telephone is: ###-###-####. they are located on the [redacted]. Please look into helping me get my money backat this point. I don't know what else to do. [redacted] sound very angry. Thank you for your service. My telephone is: ###-###-####.My name is [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like my $69.50 refunded to me in a cashier's check assoon as possible.

Review: This is very similar to all the other complaints I have read, about this company who seem to be registered all over the US in different states. I received a letter in the mail from New York Record Retrieval, Inc., which included my name. address and RE: [redacted] and a document number. It stated that "[redacted]. This deed was recorded by the [redacted]." Being a new home owner, I did not know I could obtain a deed from the town clerk directly for up to $5.00, so I sent the form back with my credit card for a payment of $89.50 in order "to obtain Certified Copy of your Deed..." I was charged $89.50 on May **, 2015, and months later (Sept ** today) I have seen no deed arrive in the mail despite their website saying it might take 30 days, or longer. I do not think this deed is ever showing up, nor should they be masquerading as a company who provides deeds, when we should actually just get them from our local town clerk. I cannot raise a dispute with my bank because it is beyond 60 days since the May ** charge, so I would like Revdex.com to locate this business and request a refund to my credit card. Like others, I tried several times to call the telephone number printed on the letter: ###-###-####, but got a marketing service trying to sell me home security systems and other products, without any way to reach a customer service person - it is a bogus number. Their website lists no way of calling or emailing this company to get my money back. Please help.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund, and also for this business to be registered as a scam. They obviously take the money, don't send any deeds, and keep changing their phone number to avoid complaints. There is valid phone number or email address for this company on their website [redacted].

Review: I received a letter in the mail from New York Record Retrieval, Inc., which included my name. address and RE: WESTCHESTER COUNTY CLERK and a document number. It stated that "a deed was prepared that shows the title was transferred to you..." I foolishly submitted a payment of $89.50 in order "to obtain Certified Copy of your Deed..." My check was dated 06/**/2015. Suffice it to say I never received a "deed." I contacted the telephone number printed on the letter: ###-###-#### on several occasions, however a recording offering a survey and a "certificate from restaurant.com" was the only reply I received. The last call I made directed me to an individual, who stated, "Oh, they have a new number as of this morning." The individual proceeded to give me the telephone number for information: 411. I then went on the Internet to your site and viewed the rating for that "business." IDesired Settlement: My complaint against New York Record Retrieval, Inc. is valid and accurate. I would like a refund of the payment sent: $89.50.

Review: I got a letter in the mail stating that I could receive a copy of the deed to my house for $89.50. I sent them a check from my bank account and it was cased on 8/**/2015. The check was for $89.50 check number 2045. I still haven't gotten the copy of my deed and every time I try to contact them I can never get anyone on the phone. It will just connect me to other companies like t-mobile etc.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money back for a product that I still haven't received! I paid $89.50 for something that I don't even have and for all the trouble this company has put me through I just want a refund! It is a big scam. This was our first house we bought and didn't realize the protocol for getting a copy of our deed and obviously this is not the way to go! This is just a scam and it is not nice to take advantage of innocent people that work hard for their money!
