To my knowledge that was the last call from Toyota.  I went to this dealer in the first place to get regularly scheduled service under my extended warranty plan. My main issue outside of that was to get the special frame rust treatment as per the Toyota recall on that problem for the 2008 Tacoma. The rotor resurfacing and pad replacement was part of an additional ~$900 of work proposed to me during that visit. Though My truck was at the dealership for over a week, the frame treatment never happened. Last week I received an additional recall from Toyota about a dangerous leaf spring defect. Looking at mine I could see that one side was literally coming apart, with one leaf sticking out laterally. The truck is parked for safety reasons.  I have an appointment with a different Toyota Dealer this Tuesday (Sept **), to get the brakes examined, and both the frame and leaf spring recalls addressed. I will be able to supply additional documentation after that.

Review: Finance charges are more than suppose to be chargedDesired Settlement: refund

Review: In mid July of 2014, I was purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. The salesman [redacted] had asked me for my credit card in order to hold the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I told him that this would be a cash transaction and I was not confortable giving him my credit. [redacted] assurred me that it would never be charged but only a means to hold the vehcile during the purchase. I belueved him and gave him my Mastercard. When I picked the vehcile on July [redacted] 2014 I learned that in fact my card was charged in the amount of $500.00 which I nerver authorized. At the time I complianed to the director of financing, [redacted] who could explain why this happened. From that time on this dealership has refused to reverse the $500.00 charge. I found the salesman [redacted] to be dishonest when he assurred me this would not happen.Desired Settlement: Refund Credit of $500.00 back to my Mastercard

Review: I purchased my 2008 Toyota Tacoma as a used car from Wapinger Falls Toyota, with a premium extended warranty plan. Since I live near New Rochelle Toyota (hereafter NRT) I decided to get the car serviced there. It has been there twice, the first time was basically fine (routine covered maintenance). The service rep ([redacted] was excellent. The next time I went in (tues, Aug **, 2015). I left the truck for routine covered service (oil change, etc), for replacement of a defective u-joint (covered), and for a frame treatment that was mandated by Toyota USA to treat a widely publicized alloy defect that left the frame subject to serious corrosion and failure; this was also covered. I was was later informed by phone that the front disk brakes needed to be resurfaced and have new pads installed (~$350) and that I should have preventative maintenance on the cooling system for $450. To my regret I agreed. My service rep (Jimmy) told me that the frame treatment had to be done at another dealer and it would take several days possibly a week. I was supposed to get a call updating me on monday Aug **. No call that day, No call on tues, sept *. I called on wed Sept * to find out that everything was done, except that there was a technical problem with the treatment equipment, so that had not been done. I said I would come get the truck later that day. When I arrived, there was nobody in the service dept except the cashier. She got my payment of ~$910 and sent somebody to get the truck. It turned out that the battery was dead (probably because somebody left the door open or the like). After awhile a guy jumped the battery and got it started. While I was waiting from him I looked at the front rotors and saw that they had not been re-surfaced. I asked the guy there about that, and he said that he did not know what it was supposed to look like. I went to another mechanic near my home the next morning Thurs, Sept *, and confirmed that there was scoring and corrosion covering the rotor surface, which means that proper resurfacing had NOT been done; I could not at the time determine if the pads had been replaced. I took pictures to document the condition of the rotors, and played phone tag with the service people at NRT all day long, spending most of my time on hold. Never spoke to a service manager. I finally called and spoke to dealership management and lodged my complaint. I told them I would be traveling from Fri, sept * until today Tues Sept *. I got a call while flying on friday am, and returned it when I landed. Again, I was put on hold. I hung up after 5 mins. This am (Sept *) I called [redacted] and asked them to hold the payment on the bill to NRT, and described the complaint to them. I called NRT again and spoke to a sales manager ([redacted]). I sent him an email of the photo of the rotor. He said he would look into it. I got a call from the service manager again later when I was in a meeting, I have returned the call, and am working on this complaint while on hold listening to the promises of outstanding service. I hung up once again after waiting in vain. I plan to call and leave a message for the president of the dealership. I do not plan to have anything to do with NRT until I hear from him/her.Desired Settlement: New Rochelle Toyota (NRT) has already caused me a great deal of aggravation and wasted several hours of my time. Counting time on the phone and at the dealership, I calculate about 4 hr. After subtracting this expense, I will gladly pay the remainder of the bill, provided that they can complete the job on the brakes that they claim to have already done that they can demonstrate to me that is is done properly, and that they can do so without wasting ANY more of my time.

Review: Lease return in 07/14 and I was promised that if I leased another car, New Rochelle Toyota would be responsibe and pay for the over mieage on the returned vehicle which was it in writing on the new lease. Needless to say, New Rochelle Toyota did not honor their commitment and subsequently [redacted] put my account in collections. I went back to the dealer and spoke to both the salesman [redacted] and manager [redacted] both assured me that the error would be corrected. However after several months and I numerous calls from collection the problem still not resolved. Today we had a 3 way call with the person at [redacted] and [redacted] from new Rochelle Toyota. He promised to send her a copy of the check by 5 pm and he didn't. They are very manipulative, they made me take several trips to their dealership in new Rochelle with the promise of fixing the problem. They are ruining my credit, they are been dishonest and very unprofessional. Please I need help in regards to this. They also refuse to right in my contract that they gave me 3 years of Toyota care instead of two. I have a witness that was present with me. Thx so much! At this point I have lost all my faith in this dealer, I want to return their vehicle since they are not honoring the contract. ThxDesired Settlement: Return the vehicle to them

Review: On September **,2013 I took my Camry in for inspection and scheduled maintenance. I was told by [redacted] that my cabin filter/engine air filter were dirty and should be replaced. He stated this was not covered under the 2 year maintenance agreement. I okayed the work. Upon reading my owners manual I see that the cabin filter would be cleaned at 15,000 miles at no charge and replaced at 60,000. My car had 12,337 miles on Sept.**,2013. My oil change is not due til 20,000 miles. I called Toyota's 800 customer service line and was given a case number [redacted] on Sept. **. I called again on **/**/[redacted]. No response from the dealer.I feel I was misled by Mr. [redacted] and these parts did not need replacement.Desired Settlement: I would like my $**4.00 refunded.
