I became involved with National Auto Transport by requesting a free online quote to ship a vehicle from California to Texas about a month ago. I selected a carrier (not National Auto Transport) within a day or two and the vehicle was shipped and in fact delivered 2 weeks ago. Since however submitting that quote request to National Auto Transport I have been bombarded with phone calls (robo-calls) from them letting me know that they have a carrier in my area and are ready to pick up my car. And if I wanted a quote or to speak with a live person to simply press #1.
I typically don't answer the calls if I recognize it's one of their numbers (XXX) XXX-XXXX. The do however use different numbers and they'll even sometimes call from an "unknown" number. The calls have become relentless. I often get calls from them 4 or 5 times per day.
I've contacted National Auto Transport twice and asked to be removed from their call list...on both occasions they simply hung up on me without comment. I contacted them on a third occasion this time not mentioning the "do not call list" but rather simply asking what city they were based in? The woman did not answer my question. Unprompted she did however state that it takes 24 hours to remove someone from the call list.
I've finally decided to file formal complaints to see if I can stop this telephone harassment hence my review to the Revdex.com.
