Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I want a refundI want nothing to do with Mr [redacted] for his lack of business practices I have all the texts that a San Antonio police officer (Badge #: ***, case number is [redacted] ) saw, Mr [redacted] is calling the police officer a liar I have submitted some of the text communications I can send the Revdex.com all of them if needed, but the site has only allowed me to send four of themMr [redacted] is saying that he had reason to not finish the job, that has nothing to do with what he promised to doHe came and dumped a load of gravel in my driveway and drove off He did not level nor press the gravel as was agreed uponYet, he took off that day with my moneyI want nothing further to do with this man, I want my money back from himHe did not do the job and now I must find someone else that is actually trustworthy and competent to do the job he left undoneRegards, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

I have call logs and text messages where it Proves I always answer ! My brother was a partner on this job and he completed it ! [redacted] is just one of those people that think they deserve more than they're worth ! I have before, during and after pictures, plus the call logs and text messages to prove he is a LIAR !

Mrs*** this is *** *** with Asphalt Artist In reply to the complaint against me, I have all of the text messages between me and Mrs*** that proves that I have Never lied, deceived or told her that I wouldn't finish her driveway! There's only a foot x
foot section that needs done which is about $of recycled asphalt. I ordered what was needed but the heavy rains from April and May washed out the back part of her driveway causing me to lay inches of material; to level that section She's the one that gave me the number to the tow truck and I have her text I don't have a problem finishing it Sincerely, ***

Ms***,Thank you for taking my case and listening to meMr*** specifically text me telling me he would come finish the job June 9, because is a “Horse fanatic and the Belmont is Saturday, I can’t miss it for anything” this is only one of the many excuses for not completing the taskI can forward you all of the other excuses such as heat exhaustion, a dump truck that is out of service, or his worker quit and lastly for people not paying him for his job that he supposedly completedIt is exhausting to keep track of the excusesAs a consumer I never realized a business practice that would rather watch television than complete the job at hand. I *** *** also have witnesses and a police officer report who makes his living being objective and protecting citizensThe main focus here is I want a refund due to the fact the job is incompleteI need my refund to hire someone who is competent that will actually do the Job assigned and complete it properlyFive hundred dollars or someone to dump gravel is robberyI don’t want the “job” for free considering I gave him $The point here is to get the job doneMr*** is tangential and needs to be objective and not emotional about the complaintAs he has displayed in the text messages. Mr*** has difficulty completing task then he should not be in business considering the “job” was June 5, This is not a difficult requestThe appropriate request is to receive my refund. It appears based on his reply via Revdex.com he would “finish” the jobHe would make it worse than what it is nowThe $just to dump gravel on a drive wayI could have done that myself without hiring anyone if I wanted the job for free as he states or spend less than I don’t feel confident or trust him to do the job considering first impressions are the most important he stated in the text “I don’t work on time limits.” Mr*** threatened me stating This man is emotionalOnce again a police officer badge #*** saw these textI don’t feel like I should have to deal with his threats Lastly, the most appropriate resolution would be to receive my refundIf he really wanted to finish the job he should have finished it in the first placeMr*** is emotional now because I made a complaint I am a consumer and pay for services renderedThis is my first complaintI am using the Revdex.com to assist me in resolving this complaintMs*** any assistance is greatly appreciated -thank you. I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** is blaming the concrete contractor for his shoddy work. The concrete contractor began to construct the approach only after the excavation was completed and the base was compacted. Mr*** was aware of the concrete work from the onset and even gave advise on some of the job specs. It did begin to rain and immediately pot holes began to appear. I mentioned my concerns to Mr*** and he assured me that once they filled the holes everything would be fine. Laid the asphalt and said the parking lot was good to go. Claimed that the weight of the cars driving on it would help compact the asphalt even better. Mr*** returned weeks later to install the new car stops. I showed him the problem spots and areas where the asphalt was lifting. Said "No Problem" his work was guaranteed and would come back to make the repairs. Never did. Called several times, finally would just go to voice mail. I made one final call the day I filled this complaint. A man claiming to be his brother, Mr*** ***, answered. Once I advised him that I was reporting Asphalt Artist to the Revdex.com, Mr*** said he would go look at the parking lot. Mr*** did as he promised but charged me an additional $800.00. Mr***'s warranty is worthless.I have contacted several asphalt contractors. The average price to repair the parking lot is $10,000.

Mrs*** I laid her driveway with my dump truck with a paver on the back. You lower the paver with a winch, dump in material and pull forward and it lays it level! My employee was there helping me if you need a witness? She wants something for free and she's not going to get itI'll give her $to get the little bit of material needed to finish the 4xarea needed done or I will complete it I have all of the text messages between us too ! She texted me before I even got home saying that I did it to quick. I can lay Sqft. in minutes. She just wants the money back so sh can get it asphalted for free ! Let me know if you need my witness ? She wouldn't have paid if I just dumped it in her driveway! She's contradicting herself by saying thatHer neighbors are also witnesses because one of them asked me for a business card because they want theirs done ! Sincerely, ***

I am rejecting this response because: I too have picture of the potholes that began to show up all around the parking lot. My tenants can also be called in as witnesses. If Mr*** was his partner on this job, why was I charged $for the repairs. I have never asked for any extra work. Mr*** did not honor the one year warranty that expires January Just an FYI, my name is not ***

We were hired to lay the Parking lotWe had everything level with the Basework to slope towards the side street*** hired concrete guys to install an approach while we were workingThis was not agreed upon ! The concrete guys raised their forms too high making all of our work low.
We explained this to *** and he just threw his hands in the air and said to have it laid anywaysWe had more base brought in and raised it moreIt started raining again so we had to stop working*** let them use the Parking lot without our permission ! Tore up BaseworkWe still kept workingWe laid the asphalt, put new car stops and striped it. We advised *** to keep the lot blocked off for daysHe wouldn't ! He opened it immediately and that is what caused the damage !
