On January 3,2011 I called Mr. [redacted] regarding a garage door spring that needed replacement in a double door garage. He had been advertising in the local pennysaver under handyman services. I also called couple of other people to get an estimate or an idea as to what the charge would be and as to when it could be fixed. Mr. [redacted] called me back couple of times and assured me that he would come and fix it right away. His rate was also very competitive. I told the others that I was not interested and I had someone to go with. I was first told that Mr. [redacted]' son would come and fix it. He later contacted me saying he would come instead with his helper and take care of it. Mr. [redacted] seemed to be confused when I gave him my address. As a goodwill to him I told him I would meet him at the local [redacted] which he was familiar with. He then would follow my car to my house. He also asked me to pick up couple of garage door springs from [redacted] which I did before meeting with him. Once at the house Mr. [redacted] replaced the garage door spring quickly with his helper without checking for the specific size to match the other spring. He wanted cash which I paid him. Yet he never checked the garage door as far as making sure it opens. The following day when I attempted to open the garage door it would only open partway and would not go all the way up. I called Mr. [redacted] 3 to 4 times. Each time he said he would come yet he did not. After that he knew it was me and stopped picking up his phone. I asked him to return the $ 50 which he has not done either.
